Saw you at the bottom of that spicy hill near Woodgreen on the Gridiron. It wasn’t my first Gridiron so I knew what to expect, hope you make it back next year for another go; it’s my favourite ride of the year.

Hey Leonard good to hear that you also take weather days. Here in the Midwest of the states our outside cycling window is closing quickly. I’m pushing 68 and i find myself using the trainer more frequently these days. Earlier in the fall and longer in the spring. Keep up the good work I truly enjoy your videos.

nice sofa vlog Leonard :) Gridiron was so cold (5C) and you were not at 100% so don't worry about that ride, it was a great weekend with the JGV crew though and fingers crossed Ant and Al will drag me around the full 100miles in 2025 - hopefully get some good rides in before the festive cheer begins in full swing again this year! longer format videos of your overseas adventures would be good and the drone shots really add to the already great camera work! cheers

Hi Leonard, it was huge fun to ride with you and the guys on the New Forest "GridIron" ride. I agree it was tough, it took me two days to recover! You certainly don't hang around on a bike. Maybe next June we should do the ride together again (with a few minor route changes that I know) at an easier pace and take time to film the scenery. Early June is the best month to visit as the wild Rhododendrons will be in bloom and there will be new born fouls and calf's to see.

I've been out today, a bit chilly, but nothing bad. Harder than expected, but I haven't done much cycling over the last few weeks. I need to get fit, as I've signed up for the Dragon ride in June.

I enjoyed the long form video as much as the usual short ones, but my approach to them is different. For your usual length videos, like this one at 9:00 minutes, I'll click on it almost immediately. But when presented with a 40 minute video I want to watch, I'll usually put it in to the "Watch Later" folder, and just hope I remember it's there. But watch later could mean hours later or more likely, days later, the weekend probably.
@jollygoodveloАй бұрын
@@Jaqaroo That’s good to know. My fear is that they might pit some people off watching them because they are too long.

Not sure why but when cold weather comes upon us, I go back to the gym. straighten my shoulders back and legs and everything else. Not power lifting or bodybuilding just lifting. Still yet I enjoy riding in cold weather. I just like being on my bike. You inspire even siting on a couch. Hello from El Paso, Texas.

weather; this week tmr is 7deg and can be sunny - good day for a ride in the forest - today its just 3+ and cloudy - so it will be the gym and the treadmill. Ive been trying zone 2 but its the hard rides and the interval that make you better - if you have less than 8-10hour a week. About vids; its much easier to see a 10min vid than a 30-40min - then it has to be special.
