It is lovely to show appreciation for receiving people's gifts, and their time. your grand daughter Cleo is being taught manners that you obviously taught your own children, and now they are very passing on there well mannered upbringing too. So much empathy missing in alot of today's kids. Wonderful card.

I agree re Thank You’s. Living with an awareness of gratitude definitely helps to focus more on positivity…. and golly knows we here in the States are going to need that even more these next 4 years…. Focusing on creativity, gratitude and meaningful friendships makes life oh so much better!! Thank you for all that you share with us!!🧑🏼🎨😀💗

Very nice Christine and yes the art of even saying Thankyou seems to be disappearing. I always taught my children to acknowledge receiving things with a Thankyou message or card. Which they do That was a nice quick card and thank you Christine as always.
@mygitgo22221 сағат бұрын
Saying "Thank You" for anything seems to be a lost art even to someone opening or holding the door for you. Sending a thank you card especially a handmade one is so appreciated instead of a email/text message. This is a beautiful, "Quick make" that I'm sure the recipient will be delighted with. Thanks for sharing your talent with us. 💙

I agree. Sending and receiving a hand written thank you is so nice. I insisted that my daughter do so as soon as she could write. She is 50 and still does it for every gift and kindness received. It is definitely noticed and appreciated by the giver. My niece is now teaching her children to write them. "Thanks" for another beautiful card tutorial. I love them all.

This large 'Thanks' die looks perfect using that bright blue glitter card Chrissie, and I love the letters which you cut from some softer blue scrap which softens the look of the whole thing, and then the coordinating butterfly you added with the embossed script background finish the card beautifully. x

Terrific thank you card. I am partial to that color of blue. Sorry you're having frustrating days. As they say, "This too will pass." Although when it's happening, it's certainly no fun. I waiting for my batteries to wear completely down to completely strip my tree but it's okay I love seeing the twinkling lights in the evenings. We're having lovely weather today. Beautiful blue skies and mid 60's. Although, of course, as always, we need the rain. As long as the beautiful weather doesn't go on and on, it'll be fine. I do like rainy days sometimes. There are certain chores that I like to do on those days so I need a few for motivation. Now that our cedar tree has been removed there's no doubting when it's a sunny day as the kitchen is blindingly bright!

Beautiful! My sister-in-law has sent me a card every single month since I was diagnosed...fancy cards, simple cards, small & big. Such a simple gesture that means so much and re-ignited my own love of card making. Now I try to pay it forward to others. You're right, it is a lost art...love to see it coming back.

This is a splendid card and a wonderful means of showing your appreciation. Yes, sadly, sending thank you cards is a dying art. Even birthday wishes are now being sent by text instead of mail. On the positive side, it makes our cards even more special because 1) we made the effort to send a card 2) we thought enough of the person to hand make the card and 3) we enjoyed ourselves while making the card. I just hope future postage rates permit us continue the tradition. 😊 It sounds like you've had a rough few days (no wonder you had a headache!), but it didn't stop you from making a very lovely card. Hopefully, this will break the rough patch and your other ordeals will be more manageable. 🩷🤞
