I remember playing paragon on ps4. it's good to see this game back but it was a very different game back then with the card system, so seeing a store with items is refreshing but also new. Gonna take some time to get back into it. I'm excited though.

Hey man! I just got into Pred a few days ago (PS5 player), and randomly found your guide when I was looking for beginner tips. I played Paragon back in the days, and I was ok-ish at the game (around gold elo), but it's been over 5 years and I forgot a lot of things, and some things have changed obviously. I still do have general MOBA knowledge, but I'm still kinda starting from scratch because it's been so long. I subscribed and hope your channel blows up a bit from all the new console players :) Looking forward to your future videos! I wanna try to get back to my old shape and even better, hopefully with the help of your vids it will be possible :)

finally out on Xbox, i played League but this video really caught me up on Pred. I really like Kira, its also very fun on Xbox. Few toxic players but overall very fun. I hope they update it quickly, quite a lot of QOL changes they could make

Great video!! Only info that wasn't accurate is that abilities do cost more mana as they level up. Not every skill I believe but most do cost more as you level them up.

@@KiokuVT let's just say its the only MOBA i can stomach. 😁. tried LoL and SMITE in the past; just wasn't into it and dropped off quickly. paragon looks very similar to pred and might be something i could try in the future

This was a great refresher video. It'll take a little time to get use to the items as they are really what's new. Sucks that the closed Beta is only lasting a month though. But, it'll be fun nonetheless.

I agree, i brought up in the creator discord that with how well recieved its been, they should just keep it open and patch it as time goes on, similar to what they are doing for PC this past year.

@@KiokuVT exactly dude. Most people on console just want to be able to play the game and can accept that it will get updated along the way. They won't get this level of exposure everytime the do a closed beta. The hype will die down each time. So, it's like a now or never sort of realm. If this isn't live by Q2 2024, I can't imagine the game will succeed long-term. Same for Overprime.

Video's great, somehow it was recommended to me by the algorithm gods. The game just looks like they remade Smite with a more realistic art style but worse theme. I think it's the minimap that gives Smite vibes the most, I'd actually believe I was looking at the Smite UI.

so similar to smite its 3rd person. but the game is a revival of a game called Paragon that came out in 2015. this game focuses more on full verticality. so up down shooting. not just left and right. hope you check it out and give it a try!

@@KiokuVT whatever works for u. I would jus pick the more popular,or easy to understand character for each role. So for mid you can do Gideon Carry sparrow Off lane greystone etc Jus try your best to explain how the item menu works cause it's pretty confusing you're doing a good job tho.

Keep pushing! It takes time to get used to! One advice ill say is to keep thinking about whats best for you at this current moment. Think about “if i go and do this this, will it benefit me actually, or will it hurt me?” for example in jungle, should i go to duo lane and gank for a potential kill? “am i going to get a kill, does duo lane even need the help, if i do this im giving up time to farm and the enemy jungler is getting ahead.” knowledge is key to mobas. just keep thinking! 💭

Also if you get a chance since I can tell you know what you are doing. If you have any advice on any of my compilations I'd be interested to know what you would improve on.

are you talking about the the chatbox icon, red triangle and little pin icon? if so those are your mute options. can mute the players chat, or pings. the red triangle is the report button.

Okay but why is it that even if I keep up with my opponent in offlane farming they still melt me to kingdom come, getting to the point where I don’t even wanna touch this game

Its frustrating for sure, without seeing some of your gameplay i cant give you an exact answer for you. but generally speaking, dont take fights in the enemy minion wave, all heroes have counter picks so you may be getting counter picked. try allowing the opponet to push your wave back to your tower. then farm near your tower instead of the middle of the lane. this is general, again without seeing a match i cant get specific. check out my offlane guide too. if you still have trouble, join my discord and post a match ID and I can review it.

Its a different beast! The laning phase is much slower, and i think thats what hurts most players coming from other MOBAs. they try to initate fights too early in game and it starts to snowball.

😂 It basically is. This is called Predecessor. a rebirth of Paragon that has been made with the assets of Paragon when they shut down back in 2018. Epic released the assets free to use, and Community members came together and started to rebuild the game. Welcome back to the community friend. 😉
