There were probably many reasons Lucas didn't debut with Dream. He had the least amount of experience in dance or singing of any of them when Dream started and SM may have wanted him to develop his skills more. Odd numbers are also easier to choreograph for. And in the early days his height would really have stood out which is a big consideration in a dance group. The "tree surrounded by flowers" image that Lucas gave in that famous Vlive with Mark is a pretty accurate picture. hahahaha Plus, he just fits the WayV concept so well that I am glad it worked out like it did.

for recommendations, i definitely recommend “chewing gum” and “go” and watching them back to back would be really mindblowing!! this is because they debuted with “chewing gum” as a really cute and youthful concept, and “go” was the first time they really shifted concepts. they’re also both ot7 after jaemin missed two comebacks (“my first and last” and “we young”) also “boom” is their first comeback from after mark graduated and is another more mature concept. but the fan favorite really is “my first and last” (and definitely my favorite title track from nct dream)

At 10:32 17:23 22:52 they're doing a segment in Weekly Idol in which each member had to pick a question but the question was only shown to the camera and not read out loud so other members didn't know what it was. The member picking the question would answered by giving back hug to other member who fit as the answer. Then the chaos started because they didn't know if the question is good/bad while given a chance to guess what it's all about, but the real questions were never revealed during the show.

For Lucas in Dream: Basically what happened was when Lucas was added to the NCT line up, he had thought he'd be debuting in Dream since he was the same age as Mark. So he started practicing NCT Dream choreographies. Turns out they weren't going to add him to Dream since he didn't match their concepts and he was already 18-19 by the time he was preparing for debut, meaning he wouldn't be in Dream for long (based on their old graduation thing). So it's been the running joke that Lucas really wanted to be in Dream. He has stated several times before that he wanted to be in Dream and he is close with those members. His "Dream" did come true briefly during an SMTown concert where he got to fill in for Mark during a dream performance.

I'm really getting used to seeing your videos Nic! Thank you for checking out Part 2, even though it might be a little repetitive, it's nice to have some of the information clarified and explained further. First, I'll recommend some NCT Dream songs for you again: - "Ridin'" -"We Go Up" -"Boom" Super M is a super group of SM artists. It's got Ten, Taeyong, Mark and Lucas from NCT, Baekhyun and Kai from EXO, and Taemin from SHINee. Super M is great, you should definitely check them out and EXO and SHINee too. Digital art seems so hard to me, but I'm also not an art person at all so that might have something to do with it lol Maybe it's because a lot of us have seen Jisung since he was even younger than 14, but no matter how tall he gets (he's the tallest in Dream) or how much older he'll always be the baby haha but he's definitely matured a lot. Lucas has said often that he really adores Dream and I'm sure he's not COMPLETELY serious when he would say he wanted to join Dream. It was mainly the fact that Lucas in the same age as Mark and so he fit the age range of NCT Dream, but all the Dream members debuted together before him, so he said he was lonely. A lot of us were actually confused when Lucas debuted in 2018 in NCT U, because we were like "Shouldn't he be in NCT Dream? Why isn't he with them?" Obviously, we know now that it was mainly because Lucas didn't really fit the Dream image even at the time (him being generally taller and buffer than all of them) and SM were clearly preparing to have him join WayV. I don't know if you noticed that last clip with Lucas, he actually got to perform WITH Dream in 2018. He filled in for Mark at a concert and it was a super big deal because we knew how much he talked about Dream and loving Dream's songs and wanting to be with them lol Thanks and can't wait for the next video!

At 15:36 they're having a set of games and 1 of it was aegyo game (they decided to do it since they hate aegyo) which member did the aegyo and Haechan was the judge. In Jaemin's turn, Haechan didn't give him a pass. That's when it escalated quickly that Jaemin literally went from 😒 to 😻😽 and proceed to do a lot more aegyo with some hints of affection lol . Yes, Lucas is very popular among other idols and the fans, mostly cause even though he can’t speak Korean well he doesn’t let it hold him back and talks as much as he wants without holding back, even if he might make mistake in speaking he always speaks confidently. Lucas could’ve technically debuted with the dreamies cause he was born in the same year as Mark, but SM didn’t let him. I don’t know if the reasons for this have officially been proclaimed or said anywhere, but many fans have theories some being as Lucas stated his height making him look like a tree among flowers if he was actually part of Dream. SuperM is a 7 member group consisting of members from 3 different groups under SM. The groups being Shinee, Exo, NCT, and some people sometimes mention WayV as a separate group as well but they are part of NCT. Mark and lucas are born in the same year(1999), so lucas thought he had to join dream since he was closer to the dreamies age. Lucas is an overall member of Nct and is also apart of the china based sub-unit: WayV, but isn’t apart of Nct Dream because SM said lucas doesn’t fit the dreamies concept since he is very tall(6’0) and kinda more manly while the dreamies are more cute(not the lucas isn’t cute but you know what i mean).
