Poor lady, unable to tend to the garden she loved and watching it revert to a field (paddock!). A great start, and once the fences are back up . . . By the way, check the ones still standing too, some of them looked pretty wobbly in that breeze. What did the red ants do to you?
@martinthegardenguy6 ай бұрын
They nibbled my lega 😂 I think I was standing on one of their nests, and they crawled up my leg 😅 I can't blame them, though. I did wrecking ball there garden. I'll hopefully get the fence sorted, your right, there were some very wobbly ones. It's what happens when a neighbor decides to use them as a retaining wall 😡
@catherinefromchristchurchn65086 ай бұрын
If there are any fence related costs on the retaining side, you should advise said neighbour of total and half and suggest they pay half. Choices, consequences. Here that actually has its own Act. Not sure about there. Leave the ants alone in future (as much as possible). 😊

I have had very good luck replacing the rechargeable batteries in solar lights with new rechargeable batteries ! Theres usually a littlte hatch somewhere you can get at with a tiny phillips head screwdriver. I replaced one at a time with a new battery, if it diddnt revive, i swspped the new battery into the next one. Over 75% of my moms dead lights sprang back into life after a day in the sunvwith a new battery. ( i went one by onecbecause i didnt want to buy a lot of rechargable batteries at high cost if it wasnt going to work out. I just bought a few at a time)

Having tackled a few gardens like this they're are a few questions I always ask. Have you any dogs that use the garden? Any water features like ponds? Whose going to look after it? Having strimmed dog bombs, fell in a pond and returned three months later to do the same thing, I need to know what I'm faced with. Great work with the strimmer. Would you use a blade instead of line?
