A Summer Day At Disney's Animal Kingdom! | Magic Band+, Awesome Safari, Flame Tree BBQ & NEW Treat!

In today's vlog we head to Disney's Animal Kingdom for a fun Summer day at the park! We test out our new Magic Band+ with the golden 50th statues. We were able to complete the statue quest in this park because there were so few statues. Then we head over to Dinosaur because the wait time was so low and afterwards we ride the safari. It was an awesome safari ride, the animals were out and active! We also had lunch at Flame Tree BBQ, we haven't eaten there in a bit so it was a nice change but I wasn't blown away by my food. I'll give it another try though! Then we had a new treat at Zuri's Sweet Shop, which wasn't my favorite. I'm still looking for a new cookie to try though so let me know in the comments if you know of one I should try. We hope you had fun hanging out at Animal Kingdom today! I was a CP back in 2018 and one of my friends became a full time safari driver. That driver sounds like it could be my friend but I'm not so positive, but if it is her she did one heck of a job!

I used to make magic at Animal Kingdom and if I remember correctly, all of the gear at Gupta's gear are actually abandoned/lost items from the real Everest!

Tim, I appreciate your effort to make it feel cool, but the magic band interaction with the statues is low rent. I see no reason to get the Magic Band Plus. Big miss on Disney's part so far.

I love AK, it's just so laid back and peaceful. Being in Georgia, we just make our own pulled pork, I think it might be a law here that you have to have smoker. Hubby's Daddy made ours for us, when he fires that thing up the whole neighborhood is happy because he does at least 3 butts, 2 or 3 racks of ribs and 4 or 5 packs of sausages.

Thought I would add this here. I was looking on Shop Disney, and they do have the chargers for the MagicBand+ available separately on the website. So if you can't find them in the parks, you can buy one online before your trip, or in your case when you need one.

Hi, Animal Kingdom is awesome. I love Dinosaur, but I scream through the whole thing, not because of Dinosaurs, but because of the fast and wavy track ride. My Mom rode the first time this year vacation and she loved it, but it did get her like me. Sadly we didn't get to ride Safari this year, but we did go on it 2 years ago vacation. Here at home we the Alamo Tennessee Safari Park and it's almost the same, just not as many big animals, and you drive your own car, and you can feed the African Animals, it's one of the coolest Animal things to do in West Tennessee. We love the peanut butter chocolate chunk cookies. They can be found in the Main St. Confectionary, the main gift shop in the Contemporary, Goofys Candy Co, Big Top Souvenirs to name a few. There in the case not prepackaged.

We haven’t found tons of good cookies in the parks but two gems are the cookie sandwich from the Germany Caramel shop and a deep dish cookie from the Main Street Confectionery. We love the peanut butter cookie. It’s soo good!

The best Disney world cookie was the white chocolate chunk cookie from the magic kingdom candy shop! Haven’t seen it in a couple months so it may be discontinued but keep your eye out! It came pre packaged with chef Minnie on it or you could get it at the counter. Hands down best theme park cookie!

Hey Tim and Jenn! Since you asked, You and I have a pretty (seemingly) similar love for peanut butter and chocolate in our cookies Tim. Some of my favorites are, the Minnie Mouse Chocolate Chip Lava Cake at the harbor house, the Carmel pretzel cookie in the Karamel Kuche in the Germany Pavilion, the Snickers cookies at the front of magic in the main street bakery. Also the Wookie cookie is pretty cool too! For me the best cookie in the parks still has to be the numnum cookie, it's just the best, but these are great options to try too! It would be fun if you did a cookie review around the parks some day, it would be interesting to see which one you guys liked the best!

People always say AK is the hottest park, but I always thought EPCOT was because of the lack of shade. AK has lots of trees and shady areas you can sit and take a break in. The only area of AK I thought was broiling was the walk to and from the buses.

Good chocolate chip cookie is at the outdoor food/snack area near liberty tree and haunted mansion where they sell pretzels, fruit, etc. first time I had it it was so warm and soft! Second time it was soft but not warm but it was pretty good!
