Once a week, I come to my parents' house, where no one lives anymore, to grow vegetables and flowers. Birds, butterflies, and bees also come and gather around me as I water the plants in the garden, away from the hectic daily routine. The birds are my friends because I feed them during the winter. In the summer, the birds have no trouble finding food, so they are all very active. A peaceful day here begins with a conversation with the plants and birds in the garden. After that, I spend the rest of the day quietly reading, drinking tea, and relaxing. This is the house where I grew up, so I have some of the books I used to read as a child. Spending weekends in my family's house of memories is a great change of pace for me.
