The other things I have done are: - In your Windows settings, turn Hardware Accelerated GPU Scheduling on. - I'm using a 120Hz monitor at 120Hz. I have turned Adaptive Sync on in my monitor settings. - It is very important to get your NVidia Control Panel settings right: -> Under Display, 'Set up G-SYNC', I have ticked 'Enable G-SYNC, G-SYNC Compatible' -> Under 3D Settings, go to 'Manage 3D settings', then 'Program Settings', choose MSFS in the list, and then set as follows (works for me): - Image Scaling: Use global setting (I've turned it off in the global settings) - Anisotropic Filtering: 16x (it's turned off in the Sim) - Antialiasing - FXAA: Off - Antialiasing - Gamma correction: On - Antialiasing - Mode: Application-controlled - Antialiasing - Setting: Use global setting (4x) - Antialiasing - Transparency: Multisample - Background Application Max Frame Rate: Use global setting (Off) - CUDA - GPUs: All - CUDA - Sysmem Fallback Policy: Use global setting (Driver Default) - Low Latency Mode: Ultra - Max Frame Rate: 60 FPS - Monitor Technology: Use global setting (G-SYNC Compatible) - OpenGL GDI compatibility: Use global setting (Auto) - OpenGL rendering GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 - Power management mode: Prefer maximum performance - Preferred refresh rate: Use global setting (Highest available) - Texture filtering - Anisotropic sample optimisation: Off - Texture filtering - Negative LOD bias: Clamp - Texture filtering- Quality: Quality - Texture filtering - Trilinear optimisation: On - Threaded optimisation: On - Triple buffering: Off - Vertical sync: Fast - Virtual Reality pre-rendered frames: 1 - Vulkan/OpenGL present method: Prefer native

@@SakeSimu Welcome. I just realised the end of the UserCFG.opt has an internal link to a file pathway - you would obviously need to ensure you use your own link for that. Maybe just run through the UserCFG.opt and see whether there's any other specific settings that are specific to your PC. It's taken me many hours to get my MSFS to run smoothly. Sometimes the issue can also be to update the NVIDIA driver. In addition, I played around with the Rolling Cache options in MSFS and received some advice to turn it off. I've got it off atm. Another general point is that you should keep all moving objects in the Sim to a minimum. Air traffic, ship traffic and airport vehicles drop FPS significantly. E.g., if I turn FSLTL on with 90 moving aircraft at Chicago or New York, I get 30-40 FPS with RTX 4090, Frame Generation ON. When I turn traffic off, I get 50-60.
@DeepSkySimulations6 ай бұрын
Hey, I realised I had set Terrain LOD to 400 in the USerCFG.opt, but actually I usually only fly with Terrain LOD 200! That makes a big difference, of course!

Hello, first I have to say great video. I really like it. And my question is, is it possible to find out the nvidia game filter settings from you? I have the problem that with my settings, if it looks good outside, the cockpit becomes too dark. Thanks.
@DeepSkySimulations6 ай бұрын
Sure. To some extent, things will depend on your monitor settings, but the most crucial setting to get a 'dark looking' cockpit brighter is to go to your NVIDIA filter settings, add the 'Details' filter, and turn HDR Toning up. My NVIDIA filter settings are below. I have to note, though, that I am playing at 120Hz, and that makes colours look paler than at 60Hz, so my filter settings are adjusted to the 'pale' look of 120Hz. If you play at 60Hz, the below settings may not exactly be what you want. Your general monitor settings, i.e. saturation, brightness, etc., will also matter. SHARPEN: Intensity: 50 Ignore Film Grain: 100 COLOR: Tint Color: 0 Tint Intensity: 20 Temperature: -10 Vibrance: 50 DETAILS: Sharpen: 0 Clarity: 60 HDR Toning: 50 Bloom: 12
@d.b.87366 ай бұрын

Thank you. There are three essential things you need to do/learn: 1. Get a so-called replay tool, e.g. Skydolly (I'm using Skydolly) - get it at Flightsim.to, it's free. 2. Get a good screen recording program, e.g., OBS (I'm using that), it's free. 3. Get a good video editing program, e.g., Davinci Resolve (there's a free version but I'm using the payware version). On top of that, there are, of course, numerous further things you may want to do: - Get some solid knowledge around how to fly airliners in a realistic manner - Adjust your Nvidia filters for better colours - Ensure you have good FPS by fine-tuning your MSFS graphics and Nvidia settings (or AMD settings if you have an AMD card) - Learn how to use the drone camera view for external view recordings Ask me if you have more questions :)
