I love those demitasse cups and the cabinet, so gorgeous. I also did fondue parties with my scuba diving friends in the early to mid 70’s before my daughter was born in ‘78. So much fun. I don’t know how I missed this video though I have now moved to a new iPad so that may be the reason because I have a few alias’. Love to you and your family from this Aussie ❤

*Nicole, @**22:47** the metal item with the bunny in the center was a wall display for cups and saucers. The plate goes in the back, and the teacup sits right in front of the plate. 😊 I also L💝VED the beautiful pink Depression glass vegetable bowl immediately to the right of the wire bunny piece...and at only $4.99, it was a STEAL❣️💝💕*

I was screeching like a fishwife when you were on the candleholder aisle - there was a bisque fairy lamp. What was I screeching? - “Ooh! I WANT that!” The yellow Hall pottery covered dishes were refrigerator containers - generally included with the purchase of a new refrigerator in the 40s-50s.

*Nicole, @**10:38** the little red bowl you picked up is Depression glass in the Oyster and Pearl pattern. I have seen pieces in the Oyster and Pearl pattern in clear, ice blue, green and pink - but NEVER in RED and NEVER any bowls that SMALL in my 50 years of collecting Depression glass‼️😳🙉 WOW‼️🙊*

*Nicole, the bunny holds business cards. 😊* *The little votive holder made of white frosted glass with a pewter surround on top and the blue and pink crystals is from Party Light. It was available with some matching pieces in the 1990's and the Set was quite expensive. 💙💕😊*

Fondue pots were very popular in the early 70's when I got mine. They are fun for desert parties. My daughter had chocolate fondue for her birthday party instead of a cake when she was a teen. It was a big hit.. I still have an electric fondue pot.

Just an idea on covering your unused thermostat...find a small transfer ware saucer or bread plate and use a command strip to mount it on the front of the thermostat. It will stick out a bit from the wall but you will only see that from the side.

I am looking for a china cabinet like the one at 19:51, $125 is a great price and it looked like it was in good shape. I would snap it up in a heartbeat if I lived closer. The green glass item (yes, I think it's a butter dish) might be Heisey, so $15 isn't bad if so. Loved all the stuff you got, the little cups and the bunny egg are adorable

Hi Nicole, There should be a date somewhere on the box of that fondue set. We got one for our wedding which was 51 yrs ago in April, yet never used it. OMG...I have that amber little bowl also, that was from our wedding. It is the dip part of a chip and dip set. This video is certainly reminding me of my age ha,ha. Am going to Goodwill, a thrift shop, and an antique tomorrow so hoping to find a couple goodies to bring home with me. OMG...love the little unit with the red and white pieces!! Those 2 cups you got are a great addition; and I especially like the smaller one.

Mary Alice Hadley was the original artist who created "Hadleyware" in Louisville, Kentucky. I don't particularly care for the farm series either, but there are many more patterns that might be more to your liking. The pieces are pricey, and might be good to pick up for resale if you can get them for cheap! (My parents were both born and raised in Louisville, so Hadley pottery is kind of in my blood!)
