What about performance? Comparison with conventional design? The video title claims a lot, but does not explain or prove anything!
@EGspider2 жыл бұрын
Because there's nothing there to prove, in addition I find this design more complicated to make so I'm not sure why anyone would bother.

In electric or electronics there is something called multimeter. If you have seen it, then please tell the voltage and amps you got in case of generator.
@glenfoxh Жыл бұрын
I had a thought for something like this, I would like to test, but this build of yours looks much more simple. And likely far better, for various reasons. The idea was, instead of windings. To use strait wire attached to a ring at the top and bottom, feeding the wire it's current. The idea would be to remove the magnetic field at the top and bottom, and keep it along the side of where a winding would be. I have no idea as of yet, if something like that could work at all. But, that's what testing is about. Yes?

Please make a motor with this. I was searching on KZbin a simple design for my flat axial flux motor.. This coil design fits perfectly for that.

Check Robert Murray-Smith KZbin channel. He made different wind turbine models with this serpentine coils.
@vint.k17272 жыл бұрын
It's essentially on big winding. I don't know if this would even work well without them going full circle it's just like a one phase dynamo might as well be the little bottle kinds.

Nice, maybe I'm wrong but it's the same shape of Hz development? Tesla said "think in therms o Energy FREQUENCY and Vibration" right? 😉
@hendrikjbboss9973 Жыл бұрын
No narrative at all. So how is this better?😮 Only 30 windings? Or do you say 60 because you used two wires simultaneously 😮 The only idea that I got from this is how to easily wind a "longer" loop to use as a serpentine coil. If you want to see the use of a serpentine coil then watch the videos by Robert Murray-Smith with the numbers 1800 and the ones following that. Particularly video 1869 The Twisted Serpent A Generator For Everyone. 😊 Now THAT is useful. BTW the Serpentine Coil in that video has 400 winds.

Nice work. Would you please explain why serpentine windings are more efficient than normal coils?
@blaiketillman3691 Жыл бұрын
I doubt it has any difference to normal coils. It’s just a fancier configuration. The only thing I think, and I say this lightly, is the bemf that acts upon the magnets when a load is on the system, is reduced. Ie, the electromagnetic drag.

The assembly is far easier and you save a little bit of copper. But it's the assembly, really. Also, if AT hadn't used superglue again (sigh!), it would have been very easy to recycle...

The author of the video forgot to add that it is a new generation intelligent coil. This type of coil is called a sequential connection system. And this is not a new generation coil, you are misleading the viewers. These types of coils have been used for a long time.
