I love this teaching. It amazes me how people think you are from the devil ...ha! Are they deceived. The devil would never tell us to read and base our life on the Word of God and that we should make the Word our final authority ! ! God bless you Andrew and your ministry! ❤

Thank God for these teachings. Sometimes I wonder how different my life would be if Andrew had gotten killed in Vietnam. I wonder if God would have used someone else or if I was predestined by God to be part of Andrew’s fruit. All I know is because of Andrew’s teachings my life is radically different than most people’s. My foundation comes from his revelation and when I get into the word I get the same revelation for myself. Many storms would have wiped me out had I not had the word to stand on. God is good!

Andrew, When the Bible speaks of persecution, is it referring to things the enemy may try to bring and persecution from people? Some people have tried to convince me that God would make people sick as a form of that and they use that scripture to try to prove it. Would love to hear your thoughts.

Thank you for asking, OfficialChrisJ! Below we have included a scripture with Andrew's commentary notes to answer your question: 2 Timothy 3:12 (KJV) 12 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. Note 9 at 2 Timothy 3:12: "The Holy Spirit said through Paul that all who live godly lives suffer persecution. There are no exceptions. This is true in all cultures and with all types of people. The only people who are not persecuted are the ungodly. The only way people will avoid confrontation with the world is if they are headed in the same direction. When they change direction and start swimming upstream, there is resistance. Persecution is not always physical abuse. Criticism, rejection, and other types of reproach are considered persecution as well. These forms of persecution can be some of the deadliest because they are subtle. Many Christians would hold fast to their faith if someone put a gun to their heads and demanded they renounce Christ or else, but some of those same people are fearful of witnessing, because of the rejection they may encounter." Note 10 at 2 Timothy 3:12: "The majority of time that the word “persecution” is used in the New Testament, it was translated from the Greek verb “DIOKO,” as it was in this case. It means “to pursue (in a hostile manner)...to run after, follow after” (Thayer’s Greek-English Lexicon). Persecution is an inevitable part of a true Christian’s life. This is a well-established truth in Scripture. Many passages echo this same teaching. Jesus said, “The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you” (John 15:20). “But beware of men: for they will deliver you up to the councils, and they will scourge you in their synagogues” (Matthew 10:17). “Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake” (Matthew 24:9). “But before all these, they shall lay their hands on you, and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues, and into prisons, being brought before kings and rulers for my name’s sake” (Luke 21:12). “They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service” (John 16:2). “Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life” (Revelation 2:10). Paul said, “For verily, when we were with you, we told you before that we should suffer tribulation; even as it came to pass, and ye know” (1 Thessalonians 3:4). “And labour, working with our own hands: being reviled, we bless; being persecuted, we suffer it” (1 Corinthians 4:12). Through it all, we must remember that no “persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword...shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Romans 8:35 and 39)." - Andrew Wommack's Living Commentary We hope that you have enjoyed reading Andrew's notes, and we look forward to answering any more questions that you may have.
