I just had my wisdom teeth out this year at 35. I will be honest, the recovery was longer than I anticipated. I only say that so you can prepare for people to be around to help watch your boys if your recovery is on the long side. It wasn't necessarily a crazy painful recovery, I was just worn out from the procedure and having to eat a liquid diet/soft foods. An ice/heat gel pack helps so much! Also, I had them put me out too and it was such a good decision! I went to sleep so fast and came out of the IV anesthesia just fine. And Miles little "meow" in this video....the cutest!!

Happy Sunday Morning, love watching your videos they are always my favorite ones to watch, my daughter had all 4 of her wisdom teeth removed and she did fine with hers, she did have some pain but that’s to be expected. I hope you have a great speedy recovery with yours as well!

I hardly drink iced coffee (hot black coffee is my usual) but the way you made that makes me want one, like right now 😋 All 4 of my wisdom teeth grew in sideways so they had to cut them out & it really wasn’t that bad at all. I took one of the pain pills they gave me right after I got home and then maybe some ibuprofen the next day and that was it. Honestly the hardest part was only eating soft foods for a couple days because I do love meat 😬 My oldest son was nonverbal until he was nearly 6 years old so watching Myles with his book and saying “correct” brought tears of joy to my eyes 🥲 Loved your reading again!🤍

@KaylaT38710 күн бұрын
@ I was 20 years old so a little bit younger but I think you’ll still be fine! Yes, he got an “official” diagnosis at the age of 4. I had people and professionals tell me he’d never talk or they didn’t know how he’d be when he got older but girl, he’ll be 17 next month and he’s loves to talk and socialize, he does most age appropriate things himself. He does not drive and some of his learning is behind but he’s come such a long way! His memory is AMAZING. He was born in February 2008 but the other day he told me something that happened in 2010 & he gives EXACT dates, like “hey mom remember when we went to Pet Smart and saw the birds on April 6, 2012” 🤯

They will keep you full and the cold will feel amazing. I ordered a head wrap from amazon that came with ice packs you’d put in it. Fantastic! I was healed and chewing on that side after like 3-4 weeks

Hey Courtney, Happy Saturday. The dentist told me that they want to remove my only wisdom teeth but I’m not unless it’s causing me pain. I love the whiten teeth kit that you use and how you showed us how to use it. Miles is making great speech progress I love hearing him talk and say more words. One of the most rewarding things about my job as a registered behavior technical is seeing my patients growth and hearing them say more words and make sentences if they need speech services. 😊🥰

I’ve had my wisdom teeth removed in my 30s and they just pulled them with a local anesthetic. As far as I know they usually don’t put people to sleep unless the wisdom teeth are impacted badly.

Hey Courtney!! I had all 4 if my wisdom teeth pulled plys 2 other teeth at 1 time,they do put you to sleep. I didn't have any problems at all they gave me some pain pills never took 1 just took ibuprofen every 4-6 hours. The day after my surgery I was headed to Disneyland, if you put ice on your cheeks you'll be ok. 1 thing they will tell you is "NO DRINKING from a straw you don't want dry sockets. I just had my 3 back wisdom teeth pulled January 2nd! I'm sure yours are nothing compared to mine. Two where broken and my other one there was nothing left to it! I have needed this done for years and put it off simply because I was terrified! I had the IV sedation and i wish i had done it sooner!! It was so fast considering all the time I wasted waiting to get ot done! Too my surprise i only needed the ibrophen for two-3 days after procedure. I honestly was in more pain with the bad teeth/infection then getting them pulled out. They do give you hydrocodone's but i didn't even need to take these. I ate soft foods jello,soups, and mac n cheese. By day three i was able to eat whatever! I can't say enough to anyone who is in there head about this definitely wish i got mine done sooner! Wish you the best of luck and a speedy recovery!!

I got mine removed when I was 28, it literally took 5 minutes! They put me to sleep, took my impacted wisdom teeth out, and I woke up in another room. I left the office about 15 minutes from when I arrived. I was like what just happened 😂 it was easy though! Just follow the directions they give you for after, I think that’s the key.
@courtneydanielleyt10 күн бұрын
That’s awesome! Did they give you the same warning about losing feeling in your jaw? How long was recovery for you?
@kelianna_b10 күн бұрын
@ they didn’t say anything about losing feeling in my jaw. I had mine done on a Friday and went back to work Monday. I ate tacos the same night (although don’t recommend 😅) I had three removed by an oral surgeon. I had one impacted wisdom tooth removed with just a lidocaine shot and that was horrible, I thought the dentist was going to break my jaw. But the oral surgery was a breeze! The holes where they were took a long time to “close” but there was no pain or anything. I’d say a few days of just being kind of careful eating and drinking (no straws!) and that was it!

My 7 year old has some crazy teeth the dentist are always like oh that’s so strange that’s so cool lol. His bottom 2 teeth were born fused together so when the one came loose they had to pull both so it wouldn’t cause problems. And we also discovered that his top molars grew in with cavities. The dentist said they formed when his teeth formed basically so the cavities were inevitable. Learn some odd things from the dentist lol. Hope everything goes well for you!
@courtneydanielleyt10 күн бұрын
Oh yes my 8 year old actually has a lot of issues with his teeth too! All 4 molars in the back grew in discolored and they said they will be super prone to cavities! He actually is in the process of getting filling on his front teeth too because they were discolored too…I can’t remember what the dentist called it.
