Tour De Lovecraft is great! Kenneth Hite has written a bunch of great Lovecraft-adjacent stuff; his annotated The King in Yellow is my go-to version of that collection.

The "always cut away from yourself, Roger" while giving him the psycho stabbing was hysterical, it's always a pleasure to be in your company!

Wow. Michael, those vintage hardbacks, with complete, and near complete, dustjackets, won't have been cheap. I wish I had such a friend.

Seems like a lot of great stuff. I just read the Case of Charles Dexter Ward in the Klinger annoated Lovecraft and the Old Gent from Providence used a lot of real places and real history in the story. Makes me want to visit New England. I believe the Green Archer was an influence on DC Comics Green Arrow.

Stay well, Michael. We never want to see you having to dress like Roger. Oh, what a great box! Good for you! I am sure we will have more opportunities to say Merry Christmas, but I hope you feel well through the season.

ooooO pressies! Beautiful snowy cover, that art style or artist is familiar, memories of very old novel books, story books, and big boys adventures. Very kind and thoughtful, wild west and sanity blowing mythos, screams holidays.

Christmas came early to Vaughn Manor this year. I'm a big fan of sending random boxes of awesomeness to family and friends. I did that for my elderly parents before they died and they were as excited as kids on, well, Christmas, even if the box arrived in July. "The Green Archer" by Edgar Wallace looks intriguing. I'm going to put on the slopes of Mount Toberead.

Roger's trying to sneak out of the video to commit more heinous acts of dark magic! Don't let him out of your sight!

Great box there! Lots of goodies. My father claims “The Last Trail” is the best western written. I do believe it is an installment of the Border trilogy (sometimes called Ohio River Trilogy) alongside Betty Zane and Spirit of the Border.

The Green Archer. . . seems familiar. Wonder if he's a comic book hero.
