Last year, Ellen's field producer, Aaron, wanted to propose to his girlfriend, Ellen's wardrobe assistant, Jen. He asked for Ellen's help and together they planned an elaborate -- and romantic -- on-air engagement!

I always see these kinds of comments on such videos and all I think is, I am sure the one proposing must've thought things through. I believe that most, if not all, of these couples have already passed the obstacles of doubt and it is much less a matter of approval that that of the thought and effort that goes in such proposals. Surely no one would like to be rejected on an international platform

I commented some time back about all the many videos one can watch on KZbin. Videos of violence, suffering - many many dark videos. And there are videos of goodness - happy stories of giving, caring, love. What I enjoy about Ellen's videos is that these stories are of people overcoming trying times, adversities and being recognized and applauded. KZbin will let you see life as it is. The good and the bad....all of it.....life as it is. I want to see it all (within reason). When I think I've watched to much darkness I watch videos like Ellen's. They remind me of the hope and light that exists in this world also.
