A Surprising Look Inside This Now ABANDONED Mansion!!

Crime Scene Mansion
Located on almost 50 acres, this once large piece of property was home to an equestrian centre along with three houses. The property stirred up controversy locally, in 2019, when a heritage farmhouse on the lot built after 1927, was abruptly destroyed before a demolition permit was issued.
The house we are exploring today was built in 1964 and has been described as a 1960s two-storey brick worker house estate. Although being a ranch style bungalow with a walk out basement, the home feels more like a mansion to me with features such as, a spiral staircase, high end design elements and even an indoor swimming pool. The property also had an equestrian complex including stables, lounges and a riding hall!
All of the remaining buildings have since been demolished and the future development of an large industrial complex is starting to take place.
Here is a bonus location, I only have photos from this one but thought they were worth including, since Southdown Institute used to be located right across the street from this farm.

What a beautiful home that must have been in its day!!!!! So much room in that kitchen!!!!! The basement seemed to be as big as the first floor!!! An indoor swimming pool !!! So many things to mention!! I really like the detail they put into the woodwork on the front of the house too!! Wish the front door would’ve been there to complete the look. What a great explore! Would have been such a cool place to grow up in. So many areas to play in as a kid. Sad that another wonderful location with a significant family history is going to be lost.

This place is pure eclectic, chaos! I wonder how many rooms are actually in this place, how many bedrooms and bathrooms. I would have loved to see it back in the day when it was lived in, with the pool filled and furniture. I just can't picture it ever being less chaotic. I wonder how many people lived here.... so many questions. I know you disagree but this is one place I'd hope people would try to reclaim pieces of. Some of the doors to the stalls, different pieces I've seen throughout.

Hi James! Waow, I’m sure this place was lovely before it was abandoned! My sister would love to have a place like this with its own equestrian centre. Not sure why all the trophies and rosettes would have been left behind. Some weird things left behind, like you said. Wasn’t expecting to see the vintage tv. You don’t see that too often

@@StaticSpaces yeah, usually they are taken home by the riders. My sisters both went to a horse riding school growing up and they kept their ribbons as far as I remember.

That is a huge house and outbuildings. These people were obviously wealthy. Back in the day this was probably a beautiful place. They had a HORRIBLE iron problem, imagine drinking and bathing in that 😖! I wonder why they left all those trophies and award ribbons? This was a very interesting video. I have a vibe this was one big party house! Good job James!

I going to say if the police are destroying the home then it's fair game to anyone taking stuff to salvage. That would not normally be my view, i loved the swan taps i would have saved those myself.

Oh my gosh purple and yellow bathroom, Uh nope lol can’t imagine it looking good together. I have never seen purple bathroom items that doesn’t bother me at all but yellow that does.
