If you've ever used a suture pad, you know they're hard to use, don't last very long, and get dirty very easily. Also, they are incredibly difficult to remove sutures from when you want to practice from the beginning again. In a past video, we broke down an alternative for practicing suturing, but in this video, we break down how to create and the importance of having a model where you can practice skin closure.
This model is made of cheap material that is easily accessible, including soft felts and velcro.
