Thank you Simon, and thanks to that very obliging marmot. We found some great lesser known bike climbs whilst we were away. It’s great to discover quieter places as well as the popular TDF climbs 😍

That was a long tough climb, up to the dam. And a sad but interesting bit of history at the site. Well spotted Marmot 🐑 (no, that’s a sheep). The towns look nice, and quite. Thanks for sharing.😊

Hi Dave! I keep meaning to comment on your name/surname 😉 I guess only those of a certain age will know Dave Allen at large… Mattmark is amazing. The approach, the villages & the hikes from the dam up to the Monte Moro Pass & the Italian border are fantastic. And the prices when you get to the hut on the Monte Moro border drop dramatically too. Salute! ☺️

I don't know about you two but I'm saddle sore from just watching these cycling trips 🤣 Fantastic scenery yet again Sue and Dave and I'm guessing it's only going to get better on the Haute Route 🤩 Tragic story about the glacier collapse. Hullooooo Ian 😊 Thankfully we were OK on the saddle front, we spent quite a bit of time on them in Provence but that’s a long way off yet 😁 I hope you enjoy the Haute Route. The first episode is not so dramatic but it wasn’t all plain sailing, as they say…. The Tour de Monte Rosa was every bit as spectacular! TTFN!! 🤗
