Definitely recommend just filing down some of the edges on the hex joints on the base arms. I did that with my Xuanwu arms after breaking basically all the spares on my Heracross base and it has definitely helped the arm just move better without breaking and it's still kept most of its strength. At the very least, it's stronger than when the arm is broken!

i do have a theory why there are 2. Xuanwu "black tortoise" have two separate body acting as one. the first body resembles a tortoise as the second body resembles a snake. this is only based on images i found in the net.

Your right about two body acting as one. In Chinese mythos "Xuan Wu"(Black Tortoise) work together with a snake to protect the North.

I think with the base arm it's not meant to be moved like the normal stand arm Rather,it's meant to be fixed posed and changed by disaseambling it and reassembling it Much like how the Figure rise standard stands works

Nah, pretty sure thats not it, mine broke just plugging it in. And the pegs and holes are completely slick unlike the figure rise ones which have a specific shape. The tolerance is just insanely tight. Id think taking em out/putting em in multiple times would cause even more wear and tear. I slightly sanded the others i had and theyre perfectly tight and movable :p

I think Amir is kinda of right because the connection is actually hexagonal and not a circle. Like it’s meant to either ratchet or be disassembled. Problem is when you ratchet it then it breaks, and disassembling it is super hard cause it’s very tight

Yeah the bases are really problematic if you ever move them they break no matter how careful you are. just use the extra parts to make a different angle that you want it is save that way. I have broken like 10 of the stand arms before I started swapping them completely.

Color scheme and wing binders remind me of the Shia Qan[T]. Having a full unarmored body is great, but was it actually part of the design to have 2 bodies or just a result of the armored and unarmored version having almost no parts in common?

yeah,this girl is a pretty big step up from previous ATK girls from design to aesthetic especially the face re now easy to watch and not out right creepy anymore.For the shoulder maybe because of how they design the back pack too big or the weight when attach those 2 shield that they re not using MD shoulder kind for more stability

The plastic they used for the stand arms is that fragile, I already broke a few because of it. To avoid the cracking just don't connect it all the away, its still a tight hinge joint even if its not connected properly. also one of the shield arms broke because you must've twist it at an angle.

how did you get the shields to connect? you say you just folded the side pieces back but i don't have enough clearance to get them to connect after that on my kit. if i try to fold them back any more they just pop off. I got the Heracross after I had bought this one thinking I'd get the same thing. While very close, there are around 6 pieces missing to be 100% in that model. I was disappointed after that but hey! It's a likewise amazing model. You won't feel that disappointment with the Black tortoise :)
