In this video I test and review my twin brother's CRKT RMJ Kangee T-Hawk. I bash and thrash this tomahawk all to hell.

Really great review. I've been watching a few of your videos lately. It would seem we have similar tastes in cutting tools. I enjoy your no-nonsense approach when testing your tools and your honest opinion. I almost bought the becker reinheart kukri based on your review...in the end I couldn't justify the price + kydex sheath. But I'm definitely getting this bad boy. Keep up the great work. Whenever I look for a specific knife review and see your channel, I know I'm in for a treat. Cheers from Canada!

Apparently, the Kangee needs to be sharpened. It really doesn't cut well into even small (tiny) branches which makes it useless until its sharp, which I'm thinking would only take a couple mins with SK5/SK85 and a file, which is equivalent to 1085 carbon steel. Easy peasy to sharpen.

Pretty awsome for its intended purpose. Have the Chogan. A bit on the heavy side though with its full tang. Great video!

Hey thanks for watching, I just borrowed this one from my bro but I’ve thought of getting the chogon for myself, I already have the woods model.

Hey guys just tested out the CRKT RMJ Kangee T-Hawk and would advise it to anyone wanting an affordable/good tactical tomahawk even if it's just for a fun toy.

Please help me out this or the Gerber Downrange tomahawk?
@thelasthuntsmanoutdoors5 жыл бұрын
I’ve never tried the Gerber Downrange personally, however if I recall correctly it’s made of 420C stainless. I don’t believe it’ll be as durable as the CRKT here in my personal opinion. Also I’m not a stainless guy. So I’d go with the CRKT. Also it’s a better deal money wise

How come tons of these are chipped shattered on amazon reviews but you abused yours and its gtg. Maybe they made a bad batch as of late? I was considering purchasing but im very put off

Honestly I do t trust a lot of Amazon reviews. It’s made of SK5 steel and being chippy or bridle isn’t known for that steel, it’s generally pretty tough. Unless if the quality went down which I kind of doubt I’d say some of the Amazon reviews are BS.
