What an awesome tour! I feel better prepared for when I arrive in august. Do you think you could do a video of the weight room? I have a weight trainer right now and I'm hoping they can help me develop a routine to do while I'm on the ship but I don't know what equipment will be available. Thank you and I hope to meet you in August.😁

Your videos of the Global Mercy are super helpful! Thank you for taking the time and making them. I was wondering if you could do a video of the weight room showing all the equipment in detail so I can plan a workout routine before I leave for the ship. 😊

Sorry I didn't get a chance to interview her --we did try but our schedules didn't align :( Which is a shame as she is one of the mercy ships LEGENDS! As you might have already seen --she makes a cameo appearance here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/moLcgo19hpxqec0

Very awesome tour you guys! I just learned about Mercy Ships last week. What an AMAZING operation (no pun haha)! I have been searching, reading and watching everything I can to learn more. I've clicked Like on this video and subscribed to your channel 😀. You may have already done this? But, as far as places to see? How about the engineering spaces? Thank you so much! I'm off to watch more of your channel!

After watching this I found your video with Silka which lead me to your video with Silka's husband, Reuben who took us through a great tour of hotel engineering which was so amazing to see. 😀 thank you!

Love this - would it be possible to do a hospital tour?
@CarysParker Жыл бұрын
Hi Brooke, thanks for the great suggestion, I squeezed in a few mini ward tours in a few of my videos but sadly wasn't able to get a proper tour as everyone was in the midst of setting up and preparing for patients --will definitely keep it on my list for the next time I go though! kzbin.info/www/bejne/moLcgo19hpxqec0 You get to see parts of it in this video (mainly radiology department and wards!)

@CarysParker Жыл бұрын
Hi Liz, I have a brief ward tour here --kzbin.info/www/bejne/moLcgo19hpxqec0 and have just posted separate videos cabin tours --singles, family and couple! Thanks for your comment!

@@CarysParker thanks so much, Wow, the wards look lovely and how nice to just have 2 people sharing a cabin, so much more private than when on the AFM. Great videos!

Maybe it is cheaper to by used cruise ship then convert into medical university and hospital ship together in one

Your first tour was TWO hours!?!? 😅
@CarysParker Жыл бұрын
Haha what I didn't say was it was 2 hours mainly cause I made you sit with me and talk with me after for a while :) You just had so many interesting mercy ships stories I wanted to hear :) I think any decent and detailed tour is gonna be at least over 1.5 hours tho! Loved every minute of it, thanks again for being my first tour guide on the GLM!

Nice concept, unfortunately this ship was built in China... I would not wander too far off a coast, that you're not about to swim back to... Chinese are famous for short cutting everything. Sorry... Good luck.

Having lived on ships for over 30 years (one built in Italy and the other in Denmark )I can say the Global Mercy is a fabulous vessel. We love her!
