At around 5:20 there is a question on how the counters are placed. Per the rules on Split, you put the single counter in front of your section. (If this result is combined with a Damage result, apply the kill to the Luftwaffe Fighter marker that remains tailed by your fighter or Section.)

Yeah, learning the game, reading the manual you think you got it, then you play a "simple" scenario and realize you have holes in the understanding if hiw ut was supposed to work. I spend lots more time then you trying to figure things out. You are a quick player!
