Cracking video mate, hope the new work horse serves you well! Very wise putting money aside for things such as this...us being self employed really have it bad..Constantly forking out. Very pleased for you and smart move regarding the steel!

Izzy I would never use a telehandler as a prop as over a short period of time the hydraulics relax

Good morning izzy o dear on the van But you wanted one so came a month early keep up the good work simon 👏

Hydrolics normaly drop over time so the forks will probs not be under the steel by time you get there next day.

Great buy well done. No dirty boots in there, you’ll be after some driving slippers for Xmas.

Have you not thought about a tipper? Come in so handy especially for the brickies and so convenient for other jobs as well carrying a lot of gear. I think the smaller box vans have limitations

You have good days and bad days. It’s how you deal with the bad days that make you stand out as a self employed/business owner. I’m a flat roofer. Labourer didn’t turn in yesterday, leaving me to rip up and relay a single felt garage. Including facias and guttering. The skip got 2 punctures en route didn’t turn up till midday. The heavens opened up twice. Get your arse down and work. Today will be a better day and if it’s not. Tomorrow will be.

I've got the same Vauxhall Combo as you. It's just a Peugeot in disguise. Mine is the LWB 1.5 diesel and can carry 950kg which is useful. I was pleased with van until I realised it has a "wet belt" engine with a not great reputation. Time will tell. My previous van was a Citroen Berlingo 1.6 HDI which did 10 years/115,000 miles with no major issues. A lot of vans were petrol powered back in the day. I hope it works out well for you.

What was the 9” trowel that you got in the last video mate.
@RiddlePC3 күн бұрын
I think you'll regret buying a petrol. Engines don't last as long as diesels, you get like 2/3 the miles from a full tank than you would a diesel, making it more expensive. Diesels are more reliable 100%
@ZanderKaneUK3 күн бұрын
will have to get use to changing gears later in petrol, diesels have the low down grunt petrol's don't.

I believe that van is a diesel with petrol clocks it’s definitely a diesel
@IzzytheBricky3 күн бұрын
@adamnewton4871 mate your right 😂 I saw that the RPM went to 8500. So instantly thought petrol (my old van and other vans only go to 6000) so the initial test drive I thought it was a petrol 😂 hope your keeping well Adam!
@adamnewton48712 күн бұрын
@ yes mate they all have the same clocks best of not taking it all the way to redline in that diesel not that I think it will hit it but yea I’m well hope your doing good aswell

How come y'all don't use brick tongs to carry? You could carry 20 brick at a time. Much faster. BTW, nice Izzmobile! be blessed y'all. Yashua Rules!

@riptiz12 сағат бұрын
@@frenchgregukI think that’s you. I was using humour, you are just being abusive, and in the engineering construction trade it is only small steel. I worked on the Humber bridge construction in 1976, when first built it was the longest single span bridge in the world. Now that’s a lot of steel.

So you refilled your old van with a cracked sump with oil and drove it on the road pissing oil everywhere? Not cool.👎
@Lyonscarpentry3 күн бұрын
Alright just stop oil calm down, got to do what you’ve got to do isn’t like he was going to walk home and just leave the van full of gear is he

Just stop oil actually poured oil or some other lubricant all over the road in one of their protests. @@Lyonscarpentry
