I am sure his customers would have understood if he had told them about the possibility of being infected with COVID that they should avoid close contact. That's not what occurred it appears. So now their water system is fixed with the likelihood of getting a highly contagious illness.

I skipped a wedding recently because I had symptoms of covid. You should have stayed home . (in Ohio you can be sued if someone gets long covid from negligence)

Please learn to occasionally say no. They still had enough water to work with. This one could have waited. I used to do this, after a decade of doing it I dreaded every holiday. When it catches up with you, it is difficult to get back to where the job is enjoyable. If there isn't an immediate danger of animals dying from lack of water for drinking, or for mist coolers for the animals, it can wait until after the holiday. It is a learned skill to say "it can wait until tomorrow". I learned this far too late.

Great explanation on how a clogged pressure tank tee pipe can cause a low pressure problem when the pump shuts off. Gonna file this one in my brain for future reference. Thanks for posting and get well soon!

That's why I'm a big fan of filter before tank. I know you'll say no and pump setters and plumbers too. In my home before tank and I keep a eye on that filter. The filter housing is made by 3M Agua-Pure AP802T Filter is AP810-2 The specs of this filter system speaks for itself.

Wow! I’ve lived without running water for over 7 years, I think they coulda gotten by for a week or so with low water pressure. Pressure remedy was interesting, tho. Last time I had fever, someone had given me a bottle Essentia water, & I felt like it saved me, bc I hadn’t had time to eat nor go to the store in 3 days.

I'm surprised VA doesn't require relief valves, I've seen the 1/4" brass nipple to the pressure switch block up and hang up the switch and overpressurize the system, otherwise hope you're feeling better!
