Author, Photographer, Music Critic, and the Chief Radio Operator at the ham radio station WA2ASQ, returns in another God Bless the Keg Publishing LLC ham radio video.
This time, Mr. Paul John Hausleben details (and shows off!) his mint condition, vintage, (classic) Ten-Tec Corsair 2 rig that he recently pulled out of storage and returned into action. Paul explains his opinion, as a long-time CW amateur radio operator with this classic radio and some of his experiences with the maintenance and upkeep of a rig that is now about 35 years old, but still stands the test of time as one of the best ham radio transceivers ever made. And a rig, proudly engineered, built, and on-the-air in the United States of America!
This video is an inspiration to all owners of vintage radio equipment, Ten-Tec lovers, QRP operators and those radio amateurs who cannot erect large antennas or even outside antennas and still get on the air and have fun and enjoy this amazing hobby!
