There are some alternate paths that get you more dialogue with Supermutant Tony Jay. The mutants in Necropolis will take you to him if they capture you. This most commonly leads to a Bad End, as he either dips you in the vats or kills you if you try to fight (since you're probably underleveled for this fight when you're in Necropolis).
