I came across this song as i was celebrating my birthday in 2015, then a finalist student in college. It instantly became one of my favorites. The death of Preye was a big loss to me because her ministry was a blessing to me. May her soul continue resting in eternal peace.

God bless you Preye for this gratitude-inspiring song. Though released about 4 years ago, I only just got to hear it this week, the last week of August 2018. It has echoed my thought pattern in the last 1 week following reflections I had on my birthday. As I went down memory lane, I was tempted to feel that I haven't done so well, but the Holy Spirit reminded me that my life could have been worse than it presently is. It could just have been me out there in the street begging for bread or even sleeping in the grave! Eternity is indeed too short to render all my gratitude for how far the Lord has brought me through a 6-year season of tests and trials. I am grateful that I am alive (not in the grave), healthy (not on the sickbed), well fed (not begging bread) and free (not in jail) to declare my victory!!!
