I loved all 3 windrummers from the novels. Alleria from the tides of darkness. Vereesa from the day of the dragon and sylvanas feom the missions from the frozen throne ä. But seems like allerie didnt get any character development at all.

The Locus-Walker sums up the alignments pretty much perfectly in this: "You have known the Shadow as nothing but horrors. The Shadow sees the Light in the same way. Neither viewpoint is true. Neither is wrong. The Light seeks one path and shuns all others as lies. The Shadow seeks every possible path and sees them all as truth."

and who says the light is good? the naaru are the embodiment of light same as the void lords are of the void, there's no good nor evil in their eternal struggle ... on the other hand, from a human perspective, the light is certainly the true enemy

And THAT is why I think it's interesting. The Light and the Void are two sides of the same coin. They are not good, not bad, but Forces with a purpose. Water is very much the same way. It can bring life, but it can also destroy. And yet, we don't consider it evil. No, the Naaru are not inherently good, nor is the Light. But what they are, is a force with a singular purpose: To preserve Life. That they do that with a narrow-minded stubbornness and refusal to consider anything but their own path as the "right" one, is understandable. They're not creatures who have the potential for one or the other, like Mortals. They literally cannot think in any other way, and that conflict is really interesting to me.
