A Thunderstorm Terrified My Dog While Camping!

Today we are heading camping with the dogs again! I know, a lot of travel packed into a few weeks! We are headed up to the Keweenaw Peninsula of Michigan! Copper Country! So you know there will be rock hounding involved! Today was mostly a travel day, but it was so hot when we arrived we had to take the dogs down to Lake Superior to dip their paws! Then right as everyone left for rock hounding, a crazy Thunderstorm rolled in and terrified my dog!

My gsd Zeus ( when he was alive) used to jump out 4 an a half foot fence and run to the porch whenever there was storms , fireworks etc 😢❤

My German Shepherd/Husky would try to hide in the under the bed or in the closet. Whenever there was a storm we'd make sure one of us was near him to comfort him.

Hang in there Memphis!!! Charlie too is scared of thunderstorms too. Charlie is a German Shephard Chow mix and he is now 11yrs and is probably a little better about thunderstorms now. We have dark clouds and rain here too. The weather here in Albuquerque is suppose to be in the low 80s and 70s. Thank goodness no more heat from Phoenix and Tucson. Memphis is so pretty sitting at the table. Kira is adorable sleeping on your bed. Nice vlog❤❤❤❤❤Joan 😊

My lab, duke used to be terrified of storms too. One time she got out and there was a level 5 tornado headed straight for where we lived at the time and she was gone for about a week before someone found her in some barbed wire whitch was wrapped so tightly around her she couldent move only scream. She almost passed away at the vet. But she lived for around 4 months after that. She's been gone 2 years ago today 😢😢

Not been to Michigan in few years I’ve known humans that freak out over storms only get nervous when it’s super windy and it’s blowing over trees sense I’ve 2 very big trees one is 6 foot around and 50 foot tall lol
