Omg, I have watched your recap video MULTIPLE times over the last few days - a couple of times were from start to finish (in intervals) and the rest was going back to rewatch certain sections. I was only ever a casual viewer of SVU, only watching it here and there if I came across it on TV (I’m not in the US), and I’ve always had the same qualms as you about “copaganda” shows - but SVU always felt somewhat ‘different’ to me than other L&O iterations, and I do think that was largely because of EO as characters and especially Olivia/Mariska. But let me tell you, your video must have been like crack because now I’m obsessed 😂 I’ve now been (re)watching Season 1, and omg the nostalgia! And I’m straight but good god Olivia/Mariska is such a babe in those episodes, with that late 90s style and the suits and everything 😅 And now this video! It was great, and it made me realise how much catching up in lore and canon I have to do. As a side note: the way you say “come on!” when you are obsessed with some EO moment or character is so expressive and it’s one of my favourite things in these videos 😂

I get the Rollins thing, but yeah, not sexually. She was the other person who’s leaving hit Olivia in a way that was close to Elliot. The ones I dont agree with: Haden - I love him. i think instead of Tucker, they could have brought him back. While I truly am an EO fan, and that just cannot be contested, I do think Elliot needs to grow and change to deserve Olivia now. She is not so codependent anymore, she is standing on her own two feet and she is a mom. While he has a lot of work to do to be on that level, but yeah, it has to be him. While Haden gave me an impression of a man that could actually both support and help Olivia grow, cause previous Elliot wouldn’t actually be able to let her grow. I think they could have brought him back and made it really work. For me the way they parted was realistic but kind of unnatural. In real life circumstances do have that sort of authority in our relationships, but thinking about what they did with Tucker, makes me angry, cause it could have been him. Tucker, while I understand, I don’t believe. To me there was no chemistry there, They talked about how deep their love was, but it wasn’t believable to me. So I kind of don’t care. I’m happy she had that, but idk. And another thing is Amaro. For me he is the same as Barba. Those two are the siblings in my mind, so I cannot see anything else. P.S. I don’t like how they make all the “good” characters believers in god and then make Olivia into that direction as well. Its as if they din’t know how else to write good characters. P.S. thanks for both videos. It was fun. Icannot believe i watched a full workday of videos after binging on more than 500 episodes of this . 😊
