Video does not do it justice, it looked way more amazing with the naked eye. The light entering the camera tends to be overexposed. Blotting out what is really happening.

I was just north of Indy in Lebanon..... I just got my "Dream 'Scope" (a Celestron 6se) and a solar safe filter, not even a week ago. This eclipse was the virgin use and I was not disappointed. I cant WAIT to see the Pleiades 🥰👍

If you're going to show something that isn't correct, at least give us a disclaimer as to why it's not exactly right. This clearly shows the darkness creeping in on the sun from the upper right when in person it was clear that the darkness came in from the lower right. Your optics must have reversed this image, or something, but please at least acknowledge that fact in the video rather than presenting it as gospel truth.
@brittanyhopf98129 ай бұрын
That's correct..it started at bottom right

Great job of capturing what it was like to be in it. We drove from CT to upstate NY to see it. CT was 95ish % and everyone was like "meh". We had to describe to them that in totality it's a whoooole different experience. It's amazing just how quickly the eclipse comes on, and how little of the sun peaking through it takes for it to disappear and the lights come back on. What an experience! Thank you for this video, now I can show people what it was like to be there!

We drove from Utah to Arkansas to see it! So, so worth it! Right in the center line of totality, hardly a cloud in the sky at the time. Rained buckets a few hours later, we were lucky!

Can someone explain how the eclipse started from the top right moving to the bottom left to create the eclipse and then when the eclipse reached its peak and started to reveal the sun again it moved from the bottom left up to the top right? The same way it came in to make the eclipse...???
