Adele Obodov reflects on her experiences during Kristallnacht, when she was a 12 year-old Jewish girl living in Cologne, Germany and her families heroic effort to immigrate to the United States. She also tells the story of Dr. Erich Klibansky and his successful endeavor to save 120 of his students at the Jawne Jewish School in Cologne, including saving Adele. This documentary was produced by the Greenberg Center for Learning and Tolerance in Colorado Springs, founded by Paulette Greenberg and her husband Dr. David Greenberg. This documentary was written, directed, and edited by Jane and Bob Neff in cooperation with the Pikes Peak Library District.
