This is the version of Zelda's lullaby for me thats saying... It was a good long run.... Good bye and Thanks for the memories.... From when I was a little child, to now. I remember saying Breath of the Wild will be my last main adventure because as an adult, life is getting in the way so much that I can barely enjoy games, especially Zelda games, the way I used to. The feeling of endless adventurer with so much free time on our hands. If i was a child again when Breath of the Wild came out, I would have explored and tried to find every little thing I could, just like I did with the first Zelda game I ever played. The way this is arranged, its the perfect "Goodbye and thank you" To the magic of the Zelda Series. May the new generation of children find the same magic as we all had found all those years ago. Thank you Zelda... Good bye... May you finally find piece in Hyrule.

The Zelda series will always be one to be remembered. Being captivated by all the sheer wonder in Ocarina of Time, meeting all the townspeople in Majora's Mask, saving both Hyrule and the Twilight Realm in Twilight Princess, initially defeating evil and sending Zelda into a long sleep in Skyward Sword, to bringing everything back from ruin in Breath of the Wild, this will always be a series remembered for its moments getting to know Link, Zelda and the stories that their adventures tell. I hope in the future, many others can become as entranced as myself and many others were with this series. Long Live *The Legend of Zelda*

Green Inkling The world is an amazing and terrible place, with wonders greater than you can imagine and terrors more horrible than you can conceive, yet... there is one land in legends that anyone can find home in, and be at peace. It is here, in Hyrule, that we all matter, and we all can be at home. Never stop fighting to show the world you are. From one Traveler to another, in this wild path of life, burdened by a similar pack... may the winds be at your back & Fair fortunes. May you find your Anam Cara soon, that you may never be alone. After all, it’s dangerous to go alone.

I'm damn near a grown man, and this song nearly brings me to tears. Holy shit.... I grew up around the Zelda series. My dad and I never got along, especially when it came to me playing certain games. I can feel the emotion in the song itself. Of all the music I've listened to, I love this piece. Keep in mind that I'm a metal head. I think this is one of the only songs or videos on KZbin that can bring me to tears. It's definitely in the top 5. I hope when I have kids they'll appreciate this franchise as much as I do now. In 2001 I started playing Ocarina of Time at the age of 5. I loved every aspect of the game, the music, the connection Link had with every sage, everyone, including Zelda. A quiet kid destined to be brave and go through a long journey and save Hyrule. I used to be scared when it came to the forest temple and shadow temple. I always decided to turn off the game when the master hands or re-deads would come at me. I remember having to always have my older brother help me play or have my dad watch me, so I couldn’t feel alone and be brave at the same time. Progressively playing all the other Zelda games while growing up at the same time has made me love this series even more. I don’t have an easy life, the divorced parents, anxiety going up the roof from elementary school high school, being excessively bullied in high school. Going through hard break ups, going through hard shit alone all the time. But this very song always healed me and always made me feel safe. I’m about to turn 22 now and every time I hear this song I think of my 5 year old self sitting in a tight room playing Ocarina of time. Meeting Zelda again as young link at the end of the game. Just remembering that I made it this far and still have a lot more in life, hoping that there will be more Zelda games to come to make me happy. I don’t care how old I get, I wanna make time for myself to enjoy the moments like I did as a kid, all because of one guy who created this world of Hyrule. And his name is Shigeru Miyamoto.

A sad goodbye, and a reunion of souls. This song speaks to my heart, as a whispered goodbye to my youth and the green-clad boy from the forest. They wave goodbye, and in a blue tunic, the last in line escorts me to the edge of the field. They can’t come with me, but I can come visit... one day.

This is the best version of Zelda's Lullaby ever, and BOTW was the best game. This one makes me cry, especially at 3:30 . The emotions and realization of what Link and Zelda and the entirety of Hyrule went through really grabs at you there. How quiet it is at the end really sets in how lonely Zelda was in those 100 years. This game meant more to me than the others because it wasnt just a story of the Triforce, but of their failure. They failed miserably in the first go, many many people died because of it. In the end, Hyrule came out scarred, bleeding, crawling, but alive. It wasnt a true victory, but a survival. I loved that about this game, and the ost just made it a tearjerker. All that to say, thanks so much for giving us this. It's June 21, 2022, and we have something to look back at the last 5 years (WHEN DID 5 YEARS PASS???!!) and have nostalgia to. To cry and laugh and remember screaming at our own shadows to. Thank you.

I cried when I heard this, for the simple reason that Zelda finally let me feel like I matter somewhere. Depression made me feel terrible and I barely kept it together through the problems of elementary and middle school, but playing a Link Between Worlds was took me to a world where no one judged you based on your social status (I was and still am a nerd) and instead judged you based on your actions. At the time, I had no idea that the events were scripted, so going through and saving Hyrule and Lorule made me feel better about myself, and helped my mentally enough to where I went from failing the eighth grade to being one of the top students in a matter of days. Zelda is one of the three big gaming franchises that changed my life. TL;DR, Zelda helped me through depression.

Even tough I'm too late I will share my own personal history with Zelda Games... It all started when I was 7, for the first time my Uncle made me a gift, it was The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, I played it on my Wii, at the time I didn't really realise anything about the storyline... ...and much else... Then i returned on it when I was 10, I played with Zelda: A link between worlds, very well made game, but then I re-activated my Wii and it was running Twilight Princess, I won't forget how that game gave me such emotions with such a beautiful storyline, it will forever remain for me the Best Zelda game ever made, i imagined how that world worked I could expand my imagination on thinking of every character in that game, now I replayed it, and, oh boy... it's still my favorite, Nintendo did such a great job with this Saga, I loved Breath of the Wild and I'm waiting for the next game, Its such a shame that everyone plays with fortnite and all those other "fast" games and now ignore such beatiful games like Zelda with such awesome stories...

I completely understand what you mean. The Legend of Zelda is a consistent work of art that spans decades and generations of childhoods with each installment inspiring imagination and love in the characters every time we sit down to immerse ourselves in any of their stories. by the end of every game they are no longer; The Link from Twilight Princess or the Link from Breath of the Wild, but somehow they become our Link or Our Zelda and we can all connect to them so easily. Unlike fortnite which will be forgotten and replaced The Legend of Zelda will stand the test of time.

A part of me will always be an adventurer. No matter how old I get... My Zelda story: My Mom bought Twilight Princess for me on the wii, I was 8 and had no idea what Zelda was. My Mom and I never really got along, still don't really but I thought..Maybe I'd give this game a try. I did, to this day it's still my favorite Zelda game. Not just because it's something we shared but because it was my gateway into Hyrule. This was what started everything from someone so unexpected. I got my fiance into Zelda via BOTW years later. This was the start of a fantastic adventure that I could share. I'm 20 now and my Mom is facing medical complications of all kinds. It's been challenging the past months and I've been stressing a lot. Zelda has taught me to be brave in times of adversity and so I must. It's hard not to feel sad when I play Twilight when before I was filled with wonder. I am grateful for the bond I do have instead of what I don't have.

I fight the urge to cry everytime I hear this song, failing more often than succeeding. The tears that fall aren't Tears of sadness but of childhood memories, me as Link running through Hyrule time and time again with my trusted sword, shield and wits to defeat the evil that is threatening the kingdom. Me, the child sinking hours and hours into a game, lost in the world created by Miyamoto and Nintendo. As an adult in these troubled times, I long for a world as simple and pure as Hyrule. In short, this takes me back to a simpler time in life and as an adult I miss it. Thank you for this beautiful rendition and thanks for the memories Nintendo.

I never realized before; but the thumbnail perfectly captures the timing of the music. It’s right after Zelda comes back, and as soon as Link admits he remembers her or doesn’t, she starts to cry and attack hugs him. She needs to have her protector, her partner, her best friend, her (probably) lover; back with her after a century alone and waiting for him, and in that moment, before he can even react to her motion, he remembers again the year he spent by her side, falling for her in every way that mattered, and realizing the life they missed because they’d been unable to express how they felt until it was too late. And yet, he also felt the hope of a life he may yet share with his Princess, returned to him at long last.

My older siblings introduced me to The Legend of Zelda, as they grew up in the time period when it first came up and it was more famous and well known. I remember watching my sister try to play and solve puzzles and defeat bosses and I always thought it was so cool. I then started playing myself however couldn’t really play as well as her as I was so young. As I got older I played more I found the game to be super fun; however I myself haven’t had much time to play anymore, and also it’s not as well known and now people are playing other stupid games. I dressed up as Zelda from Skyward Sword in 6th grade and only like 2 people knew who I was and I was kinda bummed because I thought the entire Zelda series was such a great game. I really need to start playing again..

I can see what you're getting at. The first half makes me think of someone who has been gone a long time walking up to the home of a dear friend they have not seen in a very long time. And then 2:20 hits as that friend sees them coming and rushes to meet them. It's that extremely touching and emotional moment that not everybody has truly felt. Kinda like a soldier returning home after being thought dead for a very long time. For me that weird feeling in my gut is the nagging voice that I have never gotten to experience that sort of feeling before and that maybe I never will. Being alone is just a part of my life whether I like it or not. All I can do is push on, relying on God's strength to carry me when I just can't go on another day. Life may be rough sometimes, but I know that in the end, it will all be worth it.

I really love this arrangement. Zelda's lullaby has been one of my favorite songs of the series for years, for both it's hopefulness and sorrow. Ocarina of Time was the first game with a complex storyline that I played myself, and finished myself, when I was a kid. I'd needed a guide, but I was still so proud to have made it through it. I really love the lilting way you weave this arrangement. It's peaceful, but it's also a little somber, both of which fit well with the series as a whole as well as with BoTW canon. It's kind of heartbreaking, and hopeless, to think that a daughter born into the Royal Family and the boy who pulls the Master Sword will be both an omen of bad things to come and the saviors of Hyrule. Over, and over, and over, and over, and *over*. Something about that makes me infinitely sad. I ramble. Anyway, I really love this arrangement. Thank you!

One of the most beautiful variation of Zelda's Lullaby I've ever heard. It embodies calmness, peace, softness and so much more, I can't even describe it. That piano hits so deep, I'm almost always crying because of how emotional I get with this version. Add the string instruments and I am done for. An absolute masterpiece.

The lullaby of a princess, who struggled with the weight of the world on her shoulders. Knowing what would happen if her mission did not succeed. Frustrated at her inability to stop the coming storm, placing all of her hope in the hands of a small boy. A boy that seemed to have the courage, tenacity, and power to face all the evils of the world. Going to bed every night praying that she did not just send this boy to die a terrible death. Hoping that at some point this boy would return and save her kingdom. Throughout all of time itself this boy would be attached to her as if destined to be her trusty knight. How in the end she just wished she could return to him a childhood that he had lost. Give to him some joy that he would never seem to have. For he has been and always will be the hero, destined to sacrifice everything just to become evil's bane. Whether he does this out of love for this princess, or out of loyalty to duty she can never tell. For this boy is always silent and never seems to share his struggles, as if he did not wish for his princess to worry. This boy the ever faithful knight, the ever courageous hero, and the eternally struggling last stand between hope and annihilation. This lullaby is given to this boy so that he might succeed in his quest. This lullaby her only remaining link to her struggling knight, her only source of respite.

Well i just love The Legend of Zelda and you did a great job with this but i want to tell my story here as well... When i was 7 or 8 Years old i just found a video of Skyward Sword and i just wanted to play the game so i asked my mom to buy it for me. She did it and it was arround 2011 when i felt in love with The Legend of Zelda... Well life goes and i grew up now I´m 15 Years old and i still love The Legend of Zelda now i played almost every The Legend of Zelda Game. I always think back while listening TLOZ music and it feels so good! Thinking about when i was very young when i was outside everyday with my wooden Sword and Shield and dreaming about being Link. I was outside everyday Spring , Summer , Winter everyday. And I still want to be Link and have a great adventure and I thank my Mom that she bought me Skyward Sword and that she made Zelda a big part of my life. So i never want to lose that love and i will always remember the good old times and this song is perfect for this.

Woah... was not expecting to be hit in the feels by this, and especially not expecting all the heartfelt stories in the comments. The Legend of Zelda played a big part in my childhood, and it still does to this day. I remember watching my brother play through Phantom Hourglass, then Spirit Tracks, and eventually Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword. While I never really understood the depth of the storylines back then, I still loved the games. Majora's Mask, Ocarania of Time, A Link Between Worlds, Link's Awakening... I've only ever truly played Breath of the Wild, because for the most part it wasn't the adventuring that interested me - it was the storylines. BoTW is my favorite Zelda game as of now, but Phantom Hourglass, Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword will always have a special place in my heart. I look forward to BoTW 2, and the adventures to come from the Legend of Zelda franchise.

I hope this rendition will be at the end of Breath of the Wild's Sequel. Imagine after finaly destroying Ganondorf and ending Demise's curse once and for all, Link and Zelda stand together on the plane where the battle took place. Looking out over Hyrule as the sun rises over the horizon, Ganon's remaning Malice dissaopating as if banished by the light of the sun. All the places you've been to all the people you've engaged are being shown going back to rebuilding Hyrule. Then as the camera pans upwards towards the sky, Link and Zelda finally empraces. All of that happening with this theme in the background. That is a conclution!

When I was about 6 or 7 I would sit and watch my dad play a bunch of the loz games with me when i was scared of the monsters. I decided to go back and play twilight princess because that was the one I had the strongest memories with and completing it is the most redeeming feeling, being able to go back and beating all the monsters that scared you in the past and having family memories tied to it is amazing. This song encapsulates that feeling so well and I am definitely going back and replaying all of the loz games I can.

Well, it's the start of 2020. Though I think its high time I share my memories of The Legend of Zelda Series. I remember back when I was a child that my Parents got the SNES and with it was Super Mario World and The Legend of Zelda A Link to The Past. A Link to The Past was my first Zelda game I've ever played and it will remain as my favorite Game of the Series. I can still see how my sister and I would spend hours playing the game until we beaten Ganondorf. A few years afterward, I gotten a Console of my own. The N64 and the Greatest Zelda game of all time in my opinion. The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time. I still see myself in awe at the Visuals at the Time feeling completely immersed in the game. But Sadly..... It was the only Zelda game I never finished. Fast Forward to the 3DS Era, I finally got my hands on a 3DS and the Remake of the Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time. The Graphics were just as good if not better than before and the 3D imaging made the game feel more Alive and I was finally able to finish the game on a High Note. Then I played The Highly anticipated Legend of Zelda Breath of The Wild. Unfortunately, it was on my Wii U, but I didn't care. To me, Breath of The Wild was unlike any Zelda game I've played before. You were free to forge your own path and grow stronger as you progress. I know there are still people playing Breath of The Wild to this day trying to find all the Koroks Seeds. Lol. But I know they can do it. And now we have The Nintendo Switch and the one game I got on my Birthday was a game that I've wanted to play for so long. The Legend of Zelda Link's Awakening. In my Heart, I believe that Links Awakening is a Timeless Classic. I always dream at night and imagine myself being on Koholint Island spending my days with the people I love only to wake up. Looking back on it now, I would do almost anything to do it all again. As I'm texting this with tears in my Eyes, I Hope that the Legend of Zelda will continue for years to come and for gamers young and old to experience it all with their own eyes. So I say from the bottom of my Heart to all the people at Nintendo and the people who are reading this now. Thank You. Thank you for bringing gaming in my life and to thank you for listening. Here's to an exciting new year and Beyond

I am twelve years old. I discovered Zelda six months ago, and I'm now getting breath of the wild for Christmas as my first Zelda game. The magic has passed on to our generation, and I hope to share the magic that the older zelda fans have had when they were our age. Thank you, for showing me this magic, thank you, for passing on a story, something more than just a game, that I will be captivated for the rest of my live. Goodbye, and the most sincerest salute from all of us Hylian children. May you find hope and peace in Hyrule, and we will carry on these stories and characters onto our children when we're older. The hero's soul could never know peace. Old before aged link crawled through time to save them. Here in this fractured memory of a future never come to pass he was happy. To live and die another time was worth it just for this. Old friends newly met again for the first time. Timeless indeed. Never knew what my childhood was worth until that was gone. I don't miss it but don't wish it on others to long for.

After my my many traipses through Hyrule in all its timelines, this remains a nigh constant theme. Of Hylia, the goddess bloodline, the goddess and the hero fight to contain the dark. Whew, what was I saying? Anyway, when anyone says lullaby my brain denotes to the base melody introduced in Ocarina of Time. Also it’s apparently default when I’m put in charge of holding a baby or small child. Shows the impact of this series. Just my 2 rupees.

The Legend of Zelda stories have always been close to me. I never got to play a lot of the games but I had a Link to the past when I was younger and I always looked up to these characters for some reason and still do. This song bring so much emotion to mind in remembering times when I had heroes in my life that helped me feel like I could do anything. Thank you, this is so beautiful.

With Legend of Zelda, I've adored it so much. Being only (almost) 17, and being able to play the third game in Zelda history has made me feel so great on the inside. I still own a Super Nintendo. I was never able to get past anything in the game, and I always had my older sister read it to me. I never understood that you were playing Link, not Zelda. Then I finally beat it in 2019. That was the best feeling ever. Having beat Twilight Princess and getting frustrated over the abusiveness of my dad taunting me with the game for christmas while I was grounded, and having to renew Skyward Sword over and over again from the library so I could get over the trials and beat it through, and watching how connective Link Between Worlds was. All trying to understand the timeline from a simple little green book I got from the library that people disrespected. Pizza delivery numbers were scribbled on it's inside in a horrible pen, and the spine had been cracked so hard the book would fall apart. I felt so proud of myself when I finally got a copy of my own to cherish... From A Link to the Past and to BotW, my respect grows. I've loved this series since I was six. I never understood it until I got my hands on Twilight Princess and memorized the instruction manual. I actually had to sit down at a later date to play through it without a time constraint, since I would only have an hour a day... and if I went over a minute, then I wouldn't be able to play it for two weeks. I rushed through that game, and once I got to sit down and enjoy the story, I loved it.... Zelda has got me through some tough times, and I feel honored with being able to share it with my friend who wants to write stories on it. We've talked about so many things, and I've helped him understand some loops he never understood. Like Ocarina of Time, and how it never actually happened... I miss the excitement of loading every new Zelda game I ever got my hands on... Thank you The Legend of Zelda... Thank you.

Everyone knows that they love eachother. And probably everyone had a crush once on Zelda. Or still. Or forever. Beautiful piece of music btw.

Everybody else is here talking about how much they’ve played the games, and how much it means to them, when here I am having only really played one. That’s what I think is so impressive about this - it brought so many emotions out in me, even when I hadn’t a very strong connection to the games in the first place.

It probably can't be expressed enough. From games like ocarina of time to kingdom hearts, their songs convey so much emotion. If you every have time, listen to My Heart, Your Beats. It may not express as much emotion without watching the show but it is games and shoes like those that if you get invested then you are bought to tears when you finish every possible thing and think back while listening to the music. It captures such a powerful moment in just a short amount of time.

Normally Zelda's Lullaby would remind me of the wonderful time that I used to have, but now listening to this wonderful piece of art it doesn't reminds me of that at all, it reminds me of the beautiful things I have found again trough my struggles
