I made one of these for my mom to carry around her tape measure in her purse (think carpenter’s tape measure). Perfectly fits a 12’ tape. Sew cute!

Another great tutorial, I already have the pattern but have not made it yet! I did go and order the bonded nylon you have shown, can’t wait to get it and will make this right away! I love the bulk reduction on the bottom you have shown. You Rock Jess!! Happy New Year and looking forward to see what your channel posts in the coming year! :)

I love your idea of cutting off the extra bottom portion to reduce bulk. I have found that installing the zipper first before the straps is way easier too. No straps in the way to fight with. Thx for your video!

Ah ha! That's so smart! I kept fighting those dang straps.

I found a cheap xacto type cutter kit at $general that has a straight flat blade and it fits the prongs perfectly. I just press it straight down and it is cut with not having to worry about slipping the seam ripper. This bag a super cute and would be a great change purse or I have a stack of store discount/value cards that would fit nicely

Hello!! I love your videos and your energy. Also your love to make things. I feel the same! I wanted to ask you a question, i bought a juki tl18, my dream machine, crazy about it. However when it came it came, with what it seems with condensation, wet, i was so scare to use it but i bought a few weeks ago. What can i do. I know condensation happens with the immediate cold and hot changes. I thought it was the oil, but it didnt smell like anything. The machine was cold, is metal, soooo…. Yea, i NEED help!!!! What should i do, i was about to return it but the seller said that things like that can happen but if something happens to if they will help. So…. What would u suggest? I need help asap, so i can return it. Or NOT?! :-). Thanks in advance

You could use any basic pattern and make it smaller

Thanks for the tutorial!! Is there a way to make it without zipper tabs?
@OklaRoots2 күн бұрын
That's a good question! Like just sewing the ends of the zipper into the side seam? I'll think on it for a minute.
@deyaniradiaz27862 күн бұрын
@ i really don’t like tabs on small things because it limits the opening, but I’m not good at figuring out those those design elements 🙃. But if you find out I’ll be watching you 🤩🤣.

Yes I couldn’t see the reason why u couldn’t put the zipper on first so I tried it.
