Nice video ! I was at Col des Montets a few weeks ago with a friend, the boulders are cool and the scenery is superbe ! If you ever end up here again, there are a few 6A/6A+ behind the boulder at the top of the screen at 1:18 (the boulder is called Le Surplomb) that look like you could do (based on what I have seen you do in this video) Have you tried other locations of the topo ? We tried Les Houches (Coupeau) but had not seen many people in a while so it was pretty bushy... Generally there the grades are between 6 and 7 but with some improvisation there is often things that are doable.

Oooh, we didn't actually walk around the other side of that boulder. We had a guide book as we mentioned in the video but it was probably well out of date. We tried looking for digital guides online but couldn't really find anything. 27 Crags is really good but expensive and it didn't have Col des Montets up to date. We walked up to a spot above Petit Balcon sud in Argentiere but yeah it hasn't been climbed on in a long while I would say. We're moving through switzerland at the moment and will hopefully get some more climbing done, there seems to be a lot. Maybe we might get a chance to check out Magic wood. We're moving around in a van and only have room for one pad, I think if we had another one at least it would feel better and might be able to try harder but yeah we're pretty new to the outdoor stuff. Thanks very much for the nice comment, it means a lot and encourages us to make more 😊

whats the exact location of this spot?

It's in the Chamonix Valley, you pass Argentière in direction of col des montets and Vallorcine, on the right when you arrive at the col there is a parking lot, and straight across the street small hiking trails start. If you go on the left you arrive at the boulders of the first part of the video (the sector is called "Col des Montets, Argentière"), if you go to the right there is the pointy boulder of the second part of the video (called "Le petit Cervin") (and this sector is called "Col des Montets, Vallorcine") I believe you can find the topo they use online for free (it called "Les Blocs de la région de Chamonix")
