I was raised in church my whole life and basically never understood to much about the Bible! I love Jesus, I believe he died for my sins and that Im Forgiven. I pray to hear from the Holy Spirit all the time. Although I believe because of john 3:16 I will go to heaven, along with asking for Grace to love the way Jesus does, to be fair, non prejudice, to be kind and helpful, etc...though I find myself doing the very things that I don't want to do and then the .guilt & shame sets in and I lose my direction! I know God loves me the same today, yesterday & tomorrow and I've accepted Christ in my heart. But I want to serve the purpose that God put me on this earth to do & I want my Christian attitude to come naturally! Please give me feedback & please. Prayer for me. Im Eager to live for God and win souls & do what God put me on this earth to do! God Bless and Thank you!!!

Hi and thank you. I think Messenger just basically meant that Jesus died for our sins so that we have forgiveness whenever we fall short. Colossians 2:13-14 13 When you were dead in your sins and in the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made you alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins, 14 having canceled the charge of our legal indebtedness, which stood against us and condemned us; he has taken it away, nailing it to the cross.

IN life you still have to have boundaries. I do not think God is calliing us to be doormats nor to be quick to cut off. Abuse comes in all kinds of ways and if it starts to affect or harm you greatly--GET OUT-especially if someone doesn't try to change or listen to your reasonings

I too struggle with this. Many believers do. Lay it at the throne of God. He gives promises and instructions on this. Align your prayers to His promises. So when you pray. Quote those verses. He is faithful and will pull you through this

I love Chip's messages but this one was not well researched at all. If we are going to state statistics about fitness and people who maintain results they need to be correct. P90X and Insanity were thrown in there as quick fixes to change and that is absolutely not true. I am good friends with Tony Horton. There is not one thing he does that is a quick fix. His programs are created because we have an epidemic of obesity and people not living out their purpose due to neglecting health and fitness. I'll go a step further, a large portion of Tony's original fans are Christian. Many of them are still maintaing results and doing wonderful things and still spreading the word of God. I think it's important to honor the bodies we are given by taking care of them. Still love Chip, but tired of Chrisitan's making exuses for not taking care of their physical bodies.

i have one major issue with some christians and that is i understand they they love sports I HATE SPORTS !!!!!!!! BECAUSE I DON'T CARE WHO WINS THE STUPID GAME if your a one of those people who loves watching sports i hope this comment offends you i record all my tv shows on the dvr so that i can speed search thru the commercials and i refuse to have anything to do with those people who want to reminisce the the play by play like it is so cool to watch somebody throw a ball to score points really !! im bored i understand why atheist say screw it i don't believe in any god

I was a Christian and after 8 years I fell and every single Christian I knew dumped me. I don't know what I am but I know God loves me even if non of those Christians do. I have dementia after several different types of chemo and God runs my every step and move because I can't. He must love me to take such good care of me. I don't know anything anymore about your Jesus because your Jesus's people have represented Him as a hateful, judgemental and cruel being and I want nothing of it. That's what those representatives have been towards me so why would I want that when I can have a God who heals me, lifts me up, makes me strong and loves me.

Lynnette Nordberg Sorry to hear about that. Christians are not perfect and make mistakes. Also, not all who claim to be Christian's are actually Christian. Jesus Christ is the only way to God. Look at what He says about life from His words. American Christianity has very poorly represented Jesus. You must keep that in mind. God bless you sister 😊
