The reason they couldn't get to the root of this is that they made an error in saying - he brings the light - if they had tried - he is the light - then the discussion may have gone in a different direction. Even KM & DB have bad days... that is reassuring!

Being the Light means he brings it. Saying the one is the same as saying the other. Sure, Christ is King, but their choice of verbiage did not lead them astray, not as you describe or suggest it did. We are all intended to realize Christ in this life. He is the example and we must become perfect as He is perfect. All that means is we must choose against ourselves in our own selfishness in favor of another.

What do you mean by “he is the light”? Isn’t this just a concept? I’m not sure, that this was an error. I rather like the unanswered end with the open question. Let’s go and find out ourselves together?

Whether or not an error took place... The point being made is concerning light in terms of personal clarity. If we have clarity then we have stability and we have certainty.

Are the 10 people here in this generation finally? Are we able to do nothing and it will happen? To me it feels that there is an urgency.

Can krishnamurti be correct in dismissing all religions etc as 'thought' ..and thought/ego/ as childish and nonesensical when he himself says there is no division between thought and mind/source ...and elsewhere has said problems get solved not by limited thought but in the silence when thought..based on memory..has run out of options...so source/mind solves the problem in the silence. Mind encompasses the ego circuit...see gary webers videos on brain scans etc. showing this ego circuit also Buddhists brain scans etc. It lights up the ego circuit and for people who have transcended the ego it stays dark...so Impossible now to fake enlightenment. So can it be correct to dismiss religions as based on i me mine thought as clearly it came from people who transcended the ego?

First of all don't series of word means nothing. If religion is true or false nothing would change in your being . So I will suggest to end your sorrow . Not to go into any philosophical concept cause there is no end of concepts.

The point is your own thought colors it he doesn’t deny listening to him is nonsensical but as friends we can point out to eachother this incongruous nature of thought. Much love and presence to you dear friend!

Also I think his view was limited in a sense (at some point he stopped reading or taking in Info.) so he doesn’t really know about different important teachings.. he also deeply agreed with the Buddha and others. The fact that important rinpoche or lamas sought him as their “teacher” says a lot. He also famously asked if Buddha was talking to you right now, would you listen? And the answer would be no in many cases.
