Glenn is a true Metal Guitar icon. Thru his entire career you watched album after album he progressed in his skill. During the Screaming for Vengeance tour he was lethal. Attacking his solos and again during the Defenders of the Faith tour. Then Painkiller was released and he was evolved even more. He will always be my fav guitarist. His riffs and solo’s are etched in metal. You are in our prayers Glenn. Never surrender!

It's even better because it's at normal speed. I've been to too many concerts where the band speeds up the tempo of their songs to get more done, and then it's only a 1.5 hour concert.

Best metal band ever! Best metal singer ever, all others worship the alter of Priest and that's how it should be, if you think you are more metal than Priest...you are wrong and deep down you know it.

I agree : I am not too keen on Halford's tone of voice. But he still is a good musician. They said he listened a lot to classical music, which is a good point for him...

What's truly heartbreaking is that this is hands down Priest's best lineup and they only made three albums together prior to KK's retirement.

1flungdung this lineup only made 3 albums before KK retired. Not sure what’s confusing about that.
@jollyraunchy67133 жыл бұрын
@@bloodstone6196 Downing, Halford, Hill, Tipton & Travis as a lineup only made the studio LPs - Painkiller, Angel of Retribution & Nostradamus.
@deeomayall2 жыл бұрын
No, Priest's best lineup only made two - Stained Class and Killing Machine. :P
@GrinningMoth11 ай бұрын
I think Priest's best lineup made quite a few albums: British Steel, Point of Entry, Screaming For Vengeance, Defenders of the Faith, Turbo and Ram It Down. Although Priest with any lineup is amazing, just liked their music with Dave Holland I guess.

Is it me or does every homosexual singer in rock-music have great technical ability in their singing? Rob Halford is absolutely brilliant in it.
@MisterSmith0015 күн бұрын
Hmm…I have a working theory that they are, just by nature, less “rigid” than most when speaking / singing. Perhaps that helps with the delivery of their singing ability. Lots of people, for instance, get so nervous at karaoke, and tense up; and it sometimes holds them back from their delivery. Dunno.

I am an Australian Judas Priest Fan. It took almost 30 years before I saw them in concert in London 2004. I admit - I cried. But moving to UK for 2 years was special. I saw the Priest and Scorpions 2 times while I was there. The most memorable concert I have ever seen was Judas Priest, Scorpions, and Ian Gillan and Friends plus at Albert Hall. The first time Heavy metal had ever been played in that venue. And it was GREAT. No typical set list, just the bands playing what they wanted to. Rock Hard, Ride Free. All your lives. And for those thatlove life and a laugh - enjoy this kzbin.info/www/bejne/b3S5iHaYqLZjers
