A Touch of Magic - an art journal spread

A process video showing me create an art journal spread using alcohol inks and die cuts.
I start by coating a piece of normal cardstock with a gel medium. This is to seal the paper, so I can use alcohol inks on top. I then add different ink colors on top as well as blending solution and use a drinking straw to move the colors around. After drying, I then add some ink and stamping to the piece to make it match with the tones of the die cuts I'm using for the focal point. I use a golden embossed chipboard pieces as a layering element for the composition and then add the die cuts on top using craft glue and foam tape. I finish the spread with some doodled stars, a sentiment strip and some acrylic paint.
