I'm Jason, a full-time British Travel Vlogger and KZbinr who's been to 60 countries. I've been travelling around the world full-time since 2017.
I have travel series' from many of the world's best (and least) known destinations. I filmed the first vlogs on my channel in the summer of 2016 after spending a year living in China. A proper solo trip around Eastern Europe followed after graduating from University in the summer of 2017, taking me to Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, North Macedonia and Kosovo. This marked the start of my efforts to turn vlogging into a full-time job.
After that European trip I explored much of Asia: visiting India, Bangladesh, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Pakistan, the Philippines, South Korea and Kazakhstan.
I have also travelled to North Africa and the Middle East fairly extensively over the last five years, filming videos in Turkey, Algeria, Tunisia, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Israel and Palestine.
I've travelled to North America just once as a KZbinr, visiting Mexico in 2021. Though I have been to both the USA and Canada, this was as a child on family holidays.
In 2022, I took my first trip to Sub Saharan Africa, visiting Kenya and Tanzania, before heading to the Middle East, stopping in Dubai and Lebanon. Europe followed, covering both the Greek and Turkish sides of Cyprus, and afterwards going back to Italy for the second time to cover Milan and Sicily. I then visited the Caribbean for the first time, covering the Dominican Republic, before heading to both Brussels and Amsterdam, then covering Taiwan and the Philippines in Asia. I finished off the year with a trip around Morocco.
I started my travels in 2023 by finally visiting Paris, taking the Eurostar from London. I then headed over to Qatar for a few days, before heading to the south of India.

I like how you vlog. There is no stupid hyping of content, no excessive use of superlatives and the editing is pleasing. (Even the music wasn't the same generic ' India ' music). Nice and quiet. 👍👍

What i love about travelling in India which i do get in other countries which is not quite in the same level ...is the random situations that happen.. spontaneity of India ... The way people just come up to you and start talking to you about all kinds of things.. it's a never ending fun adventure thats so addicting and a country that I will continue to keep travelling to UNTIL THE DAY I DIE... Until I see every state .. every heritage site .. experience to the full each of this country s corners .... -Jason billam Awwww..😍😍....... Jason... The spontaneity with which you spoke this and emotions connected to it made me tear up!! Much admired !! May India always give you beautiful memories to cherish..!!

I love India I don't know much about it, India is lucky to have precious movie stars like Aamir khan.Indians are pretty good at Software and know by heart the trigonometric values that most people do with a calculator. There are not only the poor area but also the ultra-rich areas in India. It possess the third largest economy in the world in terms of purchasing power parity. There is so much variety in India that I find it fascinating so everyone who goes there can find something for themselves. I love curry:) I can't comment against their religious beliefs, it's the person's choice. Love from Türkiye 🇹🇷♥️🇮🇳

I'm a 63 year old man from the US. I traveled around the world last year and on one leg of my journey I took a non AC sleeper train from Varanasi to Agra. It was inexpensive as I remember at about 400 Rupees or just over $5 US (I believe that I received the Senior fare rate). I was the only foriegner on an EXTREMELY full train, as every seat was taken and every available square inch of floor space was occupied by a sleeping traveler. To be fair it was very soon after Varanasi's Dev Diwali Festival, which I'm certain contributed to the overcrowding. The journey was fine, I had my vinyl bed to myself. Not having AC was perfect as it was quite cold that night and I was dressed for it comfortably. Everything imaginable was offered for sale from something to eat, drink, to services. Shoe cleaners were busy and I enjoyed watching a young man repairing broken zippers on people's bags and jackets. Getting to the restroom was challenging, I had to walk on the lower tier seats in order to avoid the floor as it was wall to wall with the slumbering bodies of very tired worshipers. The restrooms were disgusting (their floors were an inch deep of sloshing mess). Thankfully I didn't need to enter.... I hit the toilet from the doorway. Except for the restrooms I enjoyed my 14 hours on the overnight train. The Varanasi train station is grand in its Indian colonial architecture and marble floors. It was also crowded and hectic but wasn't difficult to navigate to my platform. Every platform had shops where you could buy a variety of products. Arriving in Agra the next morning I stepped off the train right next to the magnificent Jama Masjid. A red Mosque built in the 1650's. Both cities were incredible.

I really like the way British speak English. I wish fellow indians would speak as clearly and use more refined language as much as possible. But that seem like a distant dream. Those first generation politicians in india used to have this accent it was unique blend of indian and British accent. But it is lost now as 70 years have passed since independence.

english is not our language and english is india like poison for our cultures and i feel really proud when politicians dont choose to speak english and stick with their mother tongue. we have fought long first with islamic invaders and then with british bigots for our civilization. we are the only indigenous people in world who have saved their language, culture and land from uncultured british trash.

At 14:06, Mr Jason, you would come across such taps frequently across India. It is not to be turned for water, but the tip of the tap should be pushed up for water to flow! As soon as you take off your hand, the tip of the tap which was pushed up, comes down and water stops flowing automatically. By the way, you didn't have any co-traveller?

I have recently travelled 1st class from Varanasi (the out of town station) to Delhi, 10 hour trip, with a friend on the upper berth, but on the opposite side the 2 berths were occupied by a family of 5, with a kid screaming throughout the night. A disaster, definitely not worth the money. Before we took the train we were invited to wait in the waiting room for ''upper class gents'' for our train. The smelly toilet attached to that waiting room hasn't seen a good scrub in years

I don't want to share a room with friend or foe on any sleeper in the world. Since Indian Railways does not allow passengers to book a single room I'll stick to fast day trains like Vane Bharat and vista domes when I land in India next year..

Hi there Traveled a lot in India You need to go in person to railway station and get a tourist quota ticket. You can not buy this online. It’s easy that way to get none air con second class ticket. Also book train tickets at least four or five days in advance. Ticket agents will always say second class is full ,,,they get more commission by selling first class.

if you like quiet places then North East India is nice for you. it is one of the real jewels of India undiscovered paradise among foreigners. people there look East Asian, full of tribes and great nature. although the culture has been changed due to half the population converted by Missionaries from UK and USA. still it is great place to visit. you will be surprised how clean it is and how simple the people are.

I was also recently a bit confused of the reservation system in Indian trains. The official website showed that I booked the last remaining place on the AC3 class and all travel agency websites showed that the train was fully booked. However, on the travel day I was the only person traveling in the train car! So did everyone else suddenly cancel or miss the train? Or how else all the websites showed that the train was fully booked when in reality it wasn't? We will probably never know😁 Anyway, I enjoyed my private ride through India

Why do you want to travel by sleeper class train? Just because its cheaper? I'm sure you know it'll be hot, uncomfortable & dirty. You may fall sick and end up spending a lot more money on hospital bills. You''ll not get any other 'experience'. Mahatma Gandhi always traveled in 3rd class train because he wanted to know how the common man traveled & lived and he hoped to bring notice to some authority who might be able to change the situation for them.
