You've created an amazingly beautiful garden. It would be enjoyed much more by your viewers if you would not move the camera so quickly. It's hard to appreciate your hard work and the stunning results you've achieved as the fast pace of the camera shoot doesn't give it true justice. Just a thought! Thanks for the advice Sue, the films were made a couple of years ago, I have a stabilising device now to make them smoother. I didn't think my videos would become so popular so quickly so it's all a big surprise! I'm glad you liked visiting my little garden, it's a contrast to the other place I look after! I'll experiment to see how I can make them a bit easier to watch :-)

Finally, somebody has everything jam packed together like I do!!!…. I LOVE, love, love that look. My husband & kids (all adults now) have complained for year & years about my garden not having a square inch of space and that I have too much. Yet every Spring/Summer I find random people (and some neighbors) standing in my yard LOOKING and or taking pictures. I have a postage stamp size yard yet I managed to cram every perennial for a Cottage Garden known to man in it. The structured yet unstructured, slightly wild look speaks to my heart and the plants reward me by popping up in places they want to be. I had 1 peony and now I have 4 because she keeps moving her daughters in next door to her around the garden. Mom is now 30 and in her prime but 2 of her daughters are much bigger than she is! 😃 Your garden is WONDERFUL. I’m sure it brings you eminence pride as you walk around it at 6:00am with your cup of tea/coffee saying hello to each new blossom and bee or your glass of wine/tea in the evening just before sunset while taking mental note of tomorrow’s tasks, then reluctantly going in for the night but leaving the patio doors open just a bit longer in order to take in the seductive smell of the night bloomers. Breathe deep my fellow fanatic, you have truly created YOUR happy place and it’s so kind of you to share it with us!!…after 40 years creating my private garden, I’m still not ready yet to open it to others, so you are much braver than I am to let us see your soul - thank you! Hello Joyce, thank you for your lovely comment, I appreciate the time you have taken! We are just the same, and I have a friend who is too - no soil should be visible is my approach, at least in the growing season. I think it's a real skill to make a garden look as though it has just happened but to have spent many hours choreographing it so it does. I do walk around it but I'm usually asleep at 6am, my favourite time is the evening when everyone has gone indoors and it's just me and the birds - after all it is their home to enjoy too! I found a little nest in the topiary near Helen this afternoon. I have some lovely Paeonies at the garden I look after, one is coral and changes colour. I'm really happy you have enjoyed visiting, it is hard to share for fear of criticism but I'm past caring about that now, so many people have got a lot of pleasure from it (like they do your garden) and that's what is really important! :-)

Loved how you put your video together. The music was beautiful and calming and you would quietly across your garden sharing all the beautiful things you have put together. I think what I need to do my yard. I need to try to work on maybe one or 2 feet every week and just work my way across my whole garden and incorporate a lot of your wonderful ideas plant it nice and tight to make sure I have something to look at year-round and try to do something about my weed control.
