A Tour of My ENTIRE Disney Pin Collection | 2019

I'm uploading a day earlier than normal this week because today is my birthday! (Whoo, 27!) To celebrate, I thought it would be fun to give a tour of my entire Disney pin collection! I'm not entirely sure how many pins I have, but it's likely a little bit under 1,000 pins. So that this video isn't hours and hours long, I won't be talking about every single pin, but this is a overview of all the collections I have and how I have all my pins displayed. It's fun to see how this compares with my full collection video from 2018!

i saw this on another video and I thought it was a SUPER cool idea so i wanted to share!! Buying canvases and then painting them is such a good way to store pins! you get unique board and you can attach the back which means a) you always have a back for every pin and b) they don't fall off! just a really cool way (I think) of organizing and if you can often catch canvasses on sale at micheals!

My tip for re-arranging pins on tough unfriendly cork is use a butter knife. Gently slip it under the pin and move it around the edges to loosen the pin equally on all sides. This way it isn't always asymmetrically putting stress on one side as you pry it off., which can lead to stressing and snapping the post. I broke a post off once and swore it wouldn't happen again. The butter knife solved this.

Tjmaxx, Marshall's, and home goods have really nice decorative big boards and they range from $10-20. They arent too firm on the pins and they have a much classier look if anyone is looking for a board.

I learned the hard way to wait for good deals on pins. Last year I was hunting for a pretty rare figment pin and I ended up finding it for $100 so I saved up and bought it. Then not even a month later I found another one for only $30!!! Plus it was a Pre Production!!! So now I have two of the same figment pins; because I refuse to trade a pin I paid $100 for. So i really recommend waiting to buy pins. You might have to wait a little longer but it’s worth it if you can get a great price(unless you’re want WDI’s because those are never going to be cheap).

Hi Emily. As someone who does not own a single pin but would like to start (and has numerous ideas about themes), how do you suggest building up a pin collection? I love in Canada and don’t have easy access to stores. So most of my opportunities will come from trips (one coming in Feb) or online purchases (which I’m uncertain as to sites to scour). Any suggestions for a newbie who already feels an obsession coming on?!

Wow, what a collection! The Goofy Movie VHS is so awesome! I really want one like that! I only have one pinboard that is not even half-filled. Part of it has Universal pins and some pins from local stores/Etsy. What do you do with the pins that the posts break off? I have a Pirate Queen & King set and one of the posts broke off. I don't have the heart to toss it. My husband and I got them for us to display and he stuck his into his backpack and I guess it broke because the post rubbed against him too much. I also have another pin that got some of the enamel scratched off. (Up grape soda badge) I don't have the heart to toss it, but I did buy another of the same pin. I would trade the Up pin to anyone who used pins for crafty projects, but I don't know how to find someone who likes to do that or if it would even be a no-no to suggest such a trade. New to pin trading. I've only been to Disney World once and don't really see us going back any time soon! (Sadly.) I hope you have a great birthday. :)

There’s like a million different sources, lol. Some are released from the US Parks, some are from Hong Kong, Shanghai, Paris, etc.
