No wiring for backup camera sadly. This is something I considered, but not actually felt a need for it so far. Thanks for the positive comments and for watching.

Great Video! Quick question, did you disconnect the Solar Panel from the Nemo IDDX1230 and swap them over to the new MPPT unit that you added?? (I see the top right terminal of the NEMO is unconnected which is the PV+ connection). I have a hero camper where the NEMO is being used to also charge the battery via solar (Non-MPPT however). As far as I am aware anyways.

No, my camper came from the factory with the MPPT controller. I think my camper year was one of the first years they added the additional controller as some issues in the past with PV on the Nemo, however this doesn't seem consistent across countries, etc.

Its a GL.iNet GL-AR300M16 Mini Router, they don't make this specific model anymore, but the new ones are available on Amazon.

I just purchased a Hero Camper Ranger in USA. I must say I’m disappointed with the electric. I’m not able to use USB ports unless I’m on shore power. There is no 12v fan to move air so I want to use a usb fan. I do have the air conditioner that struggles to cool the air in the heat here. Everything else seems to be quality. I’ve reached out to the company twice but have had zero response.

Thats odd, I can use everything other than the 240v sockets without shore power. I wonder if this is some odd US Spec, or if you have a fault.

USA owner here, there has to be an issue. I can use mine without shore power.

@@patrickmball I just went and checked all fuses and still no power unless on shore power. My “dealer” doesn’t seem to know much either and I live over 3 hrs away from them and they can’t give me a service time if I bring it in. It’s been frustrating. Not sure where you live but I live in Louisiana and a 12v fan would be nice because the a/c can’t keep up.

@@patrickmball I have yellow wiring than runs on the 12v side of the breaker box…it goes to the light switches and I have 14g household wiring that runs to the plug/usb outlets but this wire only hooks to the household breaker box. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I just picked mine up from blue Compass RV and I’m currently passing through Louisiana coming from Texas heading back to Massachusetts. When I did my brief walk-through at the dealership, I was plugged into Shaw power and everything was working fine. Now that I’m on the road, and not connected to shore power, nothing is working. I went to go inside the RV quickly and put the lights on, and nothing turns on. Am I missing something? Is there a point at which you need to switch over manually to the battery?
