Seeing the Kim Mitchell albums, I wish you'd rank his solo albums (maybe with Martin?). I just recently got into his solo work, and it's just amazing. It made me go back to Max Webster too, which I only knew superficially even though I have all their albums. Great band, great artist, pretty much unknown here in Europe. Cheers.

Once again, very interesting, thanks for showing. HA, Pete: You got the "Princess Alice..." by MAGNUM as the advance promotional CD. Thats pretty much the only pro-CD I see (besides Molly Hatchets "Warriors of the..." by the same label SPV) on the whole shelf I see, easily to recognise by the slim-case. Have a couple of those as well, and never wanted to include them between the official products as they don't have a booklet. PS: I recognise no "Feeding of the mojo" and "Hole in the sun" by Night Ranger 🤫

I have similar shelving, and every time I buy a new album, I have to move everything along one space until ZZ Top pops out of the end and I have to put them in a box until I buy a new rack. Having R then Q on top of J would make my head explode. Kudos on your restraint. Funnily enough, the Next shuffle is going to be for that Man Original Album Series.

Love the tour of the CDs. A couple I didn't see: 1) King Crimson had a box set 7 or so years ago with Blu-Ray discs with a title like "Radical Power To Unseat The Hold Of Monkey Mind" that had a great cover art (don't they always?) that was around $40. 2.) Liquid Trio Experiment ! Liquid Tension Experiment minus John Petrucci is a fun one also. PP mentioned he was missing a couple of Metal Church CDs. I believe they are the 1993 classic "Hanging In The Balance" with Mike Howe on the label Blackheart Records (classic!) and the 1999 or so album "Masterpeace" which to my ears was disappointing with the legendary David Wayne back on vocals. For great David Wayne check out of course Metal Church and his follow up band Reverend. Classic heavy metal.

Hi Pete! Love your shows! I am a big Deep Purple fan, and althought I now live in Spain, I was born in Cuba and lived there for 37 years. In your videos you and your guests are always telling stories of how you discovered so and so artist and how you got hooked to Rock and Roll. Maybe one day you can do a show with stories of people from communist countries and how we discovered and got hooked to Rock music in places where Rock was considered "The Music Of The Enemy". In Cuba we have dreadful stories. I, fopr example, was sent to "Disciplinary Councils" many times and even threatened with jail time (Many rock fans did time just for that) for lstening to this genre. And how we managed to get the latest releases, well, that´s another story!! A big hug from Madrid!!!

Pete, cool look into your collection, thanks for that. Mine is not nearly as big, but I'm currently at about 4000 CDs and LPs and I see that the way you sort your discs is pretty und similar to the way I do it. Sometimes though when I get a missing album by a band it's hard to find space and in order to keep the structure on my shelves I would have to re-arrange complete columns just because of one or two additions. Is there a pro way to solve the problem? :D

Love your videos but I've noticed that you seem to shy away from anything that could be construed as punk or new wave. Seems like a whole genre that you're missing be it the Clash, Sex Pistols, Siouxsie & the Banshees, Magazine, the Stranglers, etc... Lots of great musicians to discover.

As I've stated NUMEROUS times on the channel over the years...I don't shy away from it, it's just styles of music I don't like.

@@seaoftranquilityprog Once you peel off the label and get past the stigma it's mostly just rock n roll and a lot more varied than you'd think. As someone who agrees with you on almost everything you listen to, I think there's a lot you would like. Thanks for responding!
