Hi Pete! Love your shows! I am a big Deep Purple fan, and althought I now live in Spain, I was born in Cuba and lived there for 37 years. In your videos you and your guests are always telling stories of how you discovered so and so artist and how you got hooked to Rock and Roll. Maybe one day you can do a show with stories of people from communist countries and how we discovered and got hooked to Rock music in places where Rock was considered "The Music Of The Enemy". In Cuba we have dreadful stories. I, fopr example, was sent to "Disciplinary Councils" many times and even threatened with jail time (Many rock fans did time just for that) for lstening to this genre. And how we managed to get the latest releases, well, that´s another story!! A big hug from Madrid!!!

Pete, cool look into your collection, thanks for that. Mine is not nearly as big, but I'm currently at about 4000 CDs and LPs and I see that the way you sort your discs is pretty und similar to the way I do it. Sometimes though when I get a missing album by a band it's hard to find space and in order to keep the structure on my shelves I would have to re-arrange complete columns just because of one or two additions. Is there a pro way to solve the problem? :D

I have similar shelving, and every time I buy a new album, I have to move everything along one space until ZZ Top pops out of the end and I have to put them in a box until I buy a new rack. Love the tour of the CDs. A couple I didn't see: 1) King Crimson had a box set 7 or so years ago with Blu-Ray discs with a title like "Radical Power To Unseat The Hold Of Monkey Mind" that had a great cover art (don't they always?) that was around $40. 2.) Liquid Trio Experiment ! Liquid Tension Experiment minus John Petrucci is a fun one also. PP mentioned he was missing a couple of Metal Church CDs. I believe they are the 1993 classic "Hanging In The Balance" with Mike Howe on the label Blackheart Records (classic!) and the 1999 or so album "Masterpeace" which to my ears was disappointing with the legendary David Wayne back on vocals. For great David Wayne check out of course Metal Church and his follow up band Reverend. Classic heavy metal.
