Your apartment is fabulous! I’m in GDL and plan on house hunting next week. Did you use a realtor? How was the rental process?

Thank you it is great! I’ve been here for almost a year and also the landlord is a super great lady, so I lucked out! I didn’t use a realtor but I found the listing on Facebook marketplace and even though I connected with the landlord’s realtor, I just went and did a direct contract with no realtor fees. I t was a very smooth process. Left two months of deposit plus the first months rent straight up, signed the contract and I was good to go! Was there anything wrong with the first apartment? It seemed nice enough for what I would be looking for, and the price was sweet.

There was nothing wrong at all and it was a nice place but I just wanted more space. An extra room to double as a guest room/home office and an outdoor terrace. So for a couple of hundred more dollars I found one! Thanks for watching and your comment!

How long was your first rental contract? And this one? So you don't need a car? Who fills the gas tank? Is it safe? Where did you live in NYC? I like both apartments!

First rental contract was 7 months and this current one is for 1 year.

@@wheresjarell3854 I so much admire your energy on this project. I also live in NYC but we don't want to stay here even if we're in our 60s.... Are you still in Providencia? Does everything work right, electricity, gas, water, elevator?
