Gal, you’re making us Africans people. Your compound is so green yet the animals walk around it. I get made when my mom releases animals in our homestead. The goats destroy the grass and the greeneries. But I have watched carefully on your videos and the animals are on leashes

Wet the inside of a woven basket and place over their exit. The wet walls of the basket traps the wings and they stay put.

I live in Kenya-Africa.I jumped over the fence into the garden. The dogs couldn't pass through.

Dog scared of her because she probably says a strong no every time the dog tries to enter the house. In African villages dogs are nice pets but we also use them as watch dogs. We prefer them staying outside. I know it is very different from dogs in posh neighborhoods in Nairobi, USA, Europe or Japan. There is great diversity in cultures. If you keep telling a dog “NO” in a strong inflexible tone, they begin to keep their distance from you. I used to have dogs as pets growing up in Kenya. The best thing you can do is to always rub their back and gently stroke their head or massage their body after saying no. Enforce boundaries bit be careful not to instill fear.

Thank you for your observation. The dogs we have here are watch dogs, not pets. They are aften in the kennel and are released at night. It is true there's less interaction.

I feel very sad that the animals will be eaten. You have lots of food to eat, no need for animal stock. When you start slaughtering the animals, the others in linefor slaughter must be very anxious, and hormones begin to be secreating, they must panic, without a Saviour no hope.
