It seems like Mr. Depp patterned this boat after Howard Hughes' "Southern Cross"... Only a lot smaller. Very beautiful yacht!

Johnny’s yacht when he owned it was such an unbelievable beauty !! I can’t even imagine what it would be like to own . As you showed us all the different rooms my head was spinning, it’s huge !! I enjoyed hearing about the yacht very much , so much told by you Scott in such a short time , you’re good at that !! I listened to it twice as I usually do , it’s amazing . I loved hearing everything about it , it is beautiful. Thanks again Scott !!

Yachts have come along way from 1956 when my Dad had a 78 foot yacht made by an Italian Yacht maker, which at the time was the largest yacht ever to sail into Bahia Mar Marina in Fort Lauderdale it's winter home, with Essex, Ct as it's summer home. within 5 years yachts had been built up to 150 ft. Johnny Depp's yacht was amazing to see, thank you Scott.

Heard a rumor that the Hollywood Vampires might be touring. Caught some video of Alice Cooper & one of his guitar players (Tommy H) also plays in the Vampires with Alice & JD. I hope they do tour. It seems Johnny loves his music. Something he didn't have in common with AH that complained Johnny liked to hang out with old guys that play guitar. Goodness, she's such a dud. I'm thinking what my favorite JD movie is. Didn't realize he had that extensive of a cataloge. This boat is beautiful. Don't think I've seen anything like this on the lake where I'm originally from. I have seen older wooden boats like Chris Crafts from the 40's on but nothing like this beauty. Thanks, for sharing!

As far as I am aware, the name Vajoliroja has a double meaning. While it is made up of the first 2 letters of the names of his family members, it is pronounced as a play on “the jolly Rodger”, the pirate flag. In other words, it is pronounced “va jolly rodja”

Per court docs with TMG, Johnny Depp sold his yacht October 2012. Apparently to an American Businessman who changed the name and who later sold it to JKR
@jamesboaz47877 ай бұрын
But how much would it cost to corporate if your yacht had a zero point energy engine instead of combustion?
@tinkershell18562 жыл бұрын
I’m going to take a wild guess that the pronunciation of Vajoliroja was not English, which sounds terrible 😂. My guess is French in which the J sounds like zh. Vanessa is French so that would make more sense. Spanish could be an option as well with the J sounding like an English H, but I believe it would be French 💙 Thank you for these great videos!!!

Oooh. I didn’t even think of that. Makes sense. But who knows? Thank goodness it doesn’t have that name anymore. Very confusing.

It could be true that he purchased the boat sight unseen. He suffers from Bipolar Disorder, Characterized by phases of mania and depression. One character trait is making impulse purchases when in a phase of mania. It’s not easy to live with people who suffer from this disorder, especially Bipolar 1.

İ have not yet watched the rest of this video when i write this comment, i just thought I'll give you an inside about the Turkish language, since this name is really very difficult to read the c in the Turkish language has 2 different pronunciation, one is when it looks like the normal C it's pronounced J so for example Tarcan , you say Tarjan There is also a C that looks like this Ç which is pronounced Ch for example Çiğdem sounds like chidem , you'll notice also the g is silent when it looks this way , sorry for the extended comment i just thought since you're into investigating you might like to know a couple more infos , by the way I'm an Egyptian,but i love the Turkish language and like to watch Turkish series, plus i have Turkish friends so that's how I learned about the language, now i can continue watching the rest of the video 😃

Nice yacht! A tip for pronounciation though, go to google translate, pick the language (Turkish in this case), enter the name (of yacht designer), click the loudspeaker and you should have at least a vague idea. I'm not Turkish but it does perform quite well for my language anyway. Maybe some Turks here can verify if this works ok?

Hey Scott the turkish guys last part of his surname should be pronouced as shouglu or shuuglu it means son of so most turkish name end with that last part. So surname should read in full kaliyshouglu which means son of Kalye

Not sure why this guy thinks everybody is saying Johnny's love of pirates inspired absolutely everything about his life, including this boat. That is a huge exaggeration. Just because he read that one or two people said that doesn't make it true and he should just stop going on and on about it and just concentrate on the boat. Good video otherwise.
