Wow - looks like you had some amazing weather for this time of year. When we’re at Richmond sometimes and the river is flowing fast and high (river Swale) you know in a day or so York is at risk of flooding. Flood water levels are quite surprising aren’t they. Such great choices to visit, love York ❤ great to explore, never had a bad day in York. Some fascinating buildings and history. Learned something new I missed when in York in December when you were in the Shambles market too! You going to go on a ghost walk? Those are quite good (or from what I remember!) I'm from York, it's a lovely city with so much to do, I try to get there when I can. The castle museum, the viking museum, the museum gardens, the Shambles and my favourite the Railway Museum. You'll have a great time 😃

We took the tour bus in York and it was fascinating and quite cheap - The tour guide on the bus was amazing and we were able hop off and hop on again to visit anything we found interesting - Well worth doing 🙂

A very interesting video from York. I visited it briefly some years ago. I saw York Minster and one or two other attractions. It looks like you are getting good weather down there. Nice and dry and sunny.I hope you enjoy your time there. I know I will enjoy watching all your vlogs. 😀👍✋

The reason the buildings stick out more as they get taller is so when emptying pee from pots it didn’t fall onto the windows below. The shrine on the Shambles is a lovely peaceful place to visit. Also keep a lookout for the cats on some of the buildings.

I was born in York and visit as often as i can, the most interesting place myself and my brother found to visit was back in 2001 i'm not sure if its still open to the public but Beneath the minster a Crypt was discovered many years ago and it was the most amazing and interesting tour seeing all the rooms and things that were found, i would highly recommend it to you both as its just your thing. Hey Guys, just been catching up with ya vlogs. Loving this York one today, I'd love to go here, so much to see, love the oldy worldy. Yum to the food on offer too, but yeah I agree those Yorkshires didn't look anything special, but I guess the proofs in the pudding, or so they say. Shambles street reminds me of, Elm hill in Norwich & Canterbury square by the cathedral, & Bakewell all rolled into one.. with abit of Harry potter's diagon alley thrown in.. Can't believe you are in York we live 10 miles north of York my late grandparents lived down bishopthorpe road and we spent many a happy hour in rowntrees park as kids York is a beautiful place I think when you live nearby you don't appreciate it a walk round the bar walls is well worth a go 😀❤️👍

We are off up to York in 2 weeks time, me or the wife never been there before, we was looking to get the york pass but you need to do your sums on what places you are going to visit or it can work out more expensive. Only got 3 nights at rowntree caravan park so trying to get a lot done. Keep up your great videos

Anne Lister was a diarist. And a land owner. Suranne Jones played her. The two series made were recently shown on BBC 1. Called Gentleman Jack. It was a fantastic show. Have you tried the red bus tour of York. My partner and I stayed near York around 4 years ago. Took a couple of days to get everything done. That we had chosen. I also lived near York, in my teens for a couple of years. As my parents worked for the Ministry of Defence. I spent many weekends there. I loved the Jorvik Viking centre. And I would really recommend that you do the York Dungeons. Above all. Just enjoy your holiday xxx
