As a percussionist, I agree. Harps and accordions are underrated too!

I'd say Oboe or Bassoon in a traditional orchestra. They almost always get the support role to yet another support instrument. And even in quartets, they're often secondary to a Recorder, Clarinet or Violin. And the standing bell is even more overlooked if we want to open it up to worldwide instruments.

@@CeramicQuill how even this video could be a proof that asians are the same, if this is the video montage? It was an irony that makes fun of people who think that Asians are the same. It's obliviously wasn't serious, like your cloning joke, oof. So, c'mon man, why you gotta be like that...

Everyone I know believes recorders can't ever sound good. I swear that the next time I hear a friend say that, I'll show them your work! It's amazing, people have to hear~ ✿✿✿

If they've only heard the crappy plastic recorders, they're right. The wooden ones in this video are expensive, but they sound amazing.

I played recorder for my music practicals last year and I could tell that everyone I told rolled their eyes in their head when I told them. A group that I told heard me practicing and told me I was amazing I was so happy that I proved them wrong with my plastic ass recorder 😤😤

"Everyone you know" in their totality obviously have never heard MIchala Petri or a multitude of other recorder virtuosos who can make the recorder (in all its various lengths and forms) sing... Have them listen not to this video (in spite of my admiration and respect of what he has done here), but to this: kzbin.info/www/bejne/aHWQqmWhf7pjosk or some of Vivaldi's many recorder concertos like this one kzbin.info/www/bejne/i4S4n3mXrrdkrLs.

Olaf falO I believe the correct spelling is Joe Hisaishi! But either way you’ll have no trouble finding him, he’s very good at what he does.
a close friend of mine is blind and he studied music. he also studied the recorder and he was actually scared to tell me because he thought i would laugh at him. he has a japanese wife and was recently introduced to ghibli by me and her... he loves this. though he can't see the seven versions of nakasako, he can still get all those feels! thank you for sharing this with the world :3
