Behind the Scenes: A Traditional Ayurveda Retreat - What it is Really Like Staying at the Health Village in Kerala.
This is my vlog-style tour of the Health Village: two different stays from April to May 2024.
The first time I arrived, I was jet-lagged and stressed from missing my baggage.
On the second stay 22 days later, I arrived quite sick with a sinus infection and a bad headache. You will see my protocol which nursed me back to health on time to fly home. (I did get my sense of smell and taste back within 3 days of treatments.)
In this video, I include accommodations, vegan food, an introduction to the therapies, and more.
I was not well enough to interview the staff and do a ton of filming but I plan to return there and visit a variety of other ayurvedic retreats quite soon, so stay tuned.
