Ooh I (krystal) gave up coffee last year and I'd be soo tempted in guatemala, must be amazing! love the video and especially the drone shots 😍 that whole experience w/ the family looks so amazing and so sweet they accommodated you guys with the plant-based meal. we recently went plant based and are definitely nervous about traveling again and hope we won't miss out on awesome experiences because we don't eat meat (or worse, offend someone!)

Wow congrats on recently going plant-based, it's been one of the best decisions we've ever made!! From our experience traveling while eating this way, people are usually very accommodating, but they might look at you like you're crazy 😂 One tip of advice is to not be afraid to speak up about your food!

I swear to you..when I'm in a Mayan boat down on that lake, looking UP at the hillside..the energy is very similar to being on Kealakekua bay in Hawaii. It looks and feels the same. Magical spots I suppose.

We did not get it on film but at the border from Belize to Guatemala one of the guards pointed his machine gun at my husband telling him to move his truck. And then when we did not understand that they wanted us to pay more after we passed the border i told my husband to pull over so we could talk to them to figure it out and the woman started yelling for "POLICE" so we had to quickly pay her. Safe travels🍁

Hi Abram! We were in Guatemala a few weeks ago so yes it is safe! You need a PCR or Antigen test to enter but besides that you are in the clear ✌️
